so after one cold winter suddenly everyone figures that they need snow tires.

and then this year, it's gonna be all wet snow and nothing else.

Should have bought stocks to tire makers around summer this year.

Man I remember that. I remember one night the power went out in like all of port coquitlam. My buddy wanted to go eat so I said ok I'll drive since I've got winter tires. I didnt bother scraping all the snow off the top of my car so I just drove around like that.

When I went up a hill I heard a really loud rumble and didnt know what it was.
Then my buddy saw some dude looking at us, then I figured it must've been the 200lbs of snow sitting on my roof sliding off:haha:

yeah hope my 800 dollar OEM bumper doesn't break =p

TRDood 12-12-2009 06:12 PM

winter mode is now on.
the hoist at big o tires at bridgeport almost ripped my sideskirts off again, because my car was "too low"
WTF! i just dropped 2"

that's what happens when i don't want to do it myself. fml

skyxx 12-12-2009 06:49 PM

^ They don't have a 2 post hoist?

TRDood 12-13-2009 12:47 AM

they do. but they can't roll the lever thing under my car, so another guy has to "lift" the car up by the fenders, and jamming the lever in.

when they jack the car up, the sideskirt is part of the support.

anyways, i will have to do it myself next time... since my steelies has made it even lower.

skyxx 12-13-2009 01:57 AM

If they were smart, they would have put pieces of wood on top of each support. That way it would just clear the side skirts.

roastpuff 12-13-2009 09:55 AM

It's snowing!!!

And my snow tires are still sitting at Advance in Coquitlam. FML.

Oh no! You mean this winter people are actually preparing properly and making it safer for themselves and others on the road?! The nerve...
