Am set for winter!

Called a friend who lives on Heritage Mtn after I read your post. She said it was hailing like a bitch this morning.

The LM25's are 16", though, right? Yeah, 18's are a pain in the butt to find/buy.

Had to go deep into Horseshoe Bay village to get them yesterday night though... what an adventure! Nearly ended up going all the way to Squamish because I missed the exit. :haha:

!SG 11-10-2009 09:17 AM

i had blizzak ws-50s on 225/55/16s. i sold these as i could not clear 16in wheels anymore.

i purchased back in sept a set of blizzak lm-25s on 235/45/17s.

Thats what I had planned to do, but the weather forecast is so inaccurate.
I'm just gonna wait until the temps are consistently under 7 degrees

Mugen EvOlutioN 11-10-2009 12:28 PM

doubt there will be any crazy snow storms coming just yet...at least not enough to pile up on the street

Gh0stRider 11-10-2009 02:18 PM

forcast is usually wrong. i'll wait another 2 weeks.

optiblue 11-10-2009 03:45 PM

damn it... my center caps and lugnuts haven't arrived yet!!!

!SG 11-10-2009 03:49 PM

what?! there are special winter lug nuts?!

just go to advance and get a regular set. i would run steelies but advanced autosport gave me a killer deal on the 17x8 +25 rims. cant say no to that! no steelies can get that type of offset!

mmmk 11-10-2009 04:47 PM

i put my winters on 3 weeks ago!

all these huge as POOLS of water on the roads is a sign that everyone should remove their summer wheels. i still see so many idiots with summer tires on.

What_the? 11-10-2009 06:15 PM

Put my winters on today too... don't wanna be caught in a random snowfall with summers...

so freaking heavy lugging my wheels back into my place though... ugh

If you were a female, all would be forgiven.

Otherwise..... *finger on fail button*

:lol

hk20000 11-10-2009 07:19 PM

I was trying to uninstall my summer rollers and after "breaking" one nut the key snapped.

FML. If anyone has a key for Project Myu heptagon nuts please PM me!!!

Yes you can hit the fail button now.

hirevtuner 11-10-2009 08:33 PM

What do you guys think?

advance auto in north van (the sponsor) ftw...got some tires for my integra from them and it was cheaper than total cost of getting it from tirerack and ipcking up at point roberts!

drunkrussian 11-10-2009 10:56 PM

oh also, i got mine 3 weeks ago cause 2 weeks ago it was supposed to start snowing. What a ripoff that turned out to be...

Gh0stRider 11-11-2009 01:36 AM

forcast changed...not thursday, but saturday now.

Harvey Specter 11-11-2009 01:51 AM

Don't trust weather.ca because last time I trusted their wack ass forecast I got stuck in a snow storm when their site was showing clear skies.

It's showing rain for the entire week and into the weekend here;

skyxx 11-11-2009 01:52 AM

Temperatures seems to be on an average of about 7-9 degrees now. I swapped mines out 2 days ago (Monday). My summers are hard as rock and my winters are quite bouncy on the road No more wheel spin too!!! :lol (well okay maybe 1 or two today :p)

TypeRNammer 11-11-2009 05:36 AM

Damn I just packed my del sol with 4 winter tires and 4 rims getting ready to mount them on =p

But you got all seasons? US/CAD price differentials on A/S are much less compared to high performance summer or winters.

Such a nice day today, debating whether I should swap em on or not; since it's gonna be hovering around 7 the next week or two.
