Finally knocked down all Gold in B License tests, on I go.

I gotta say I'm enjoying the game so far.

Never owned a wheel since gt1 am more comfortable with a dualshock. Its possible to get 100% gold medals/complete without a wheel. Ofc it's more "real" but personally I feel it's only worth it when you get a gigantic LCD, serious 7.1 setup and those racing seat thingy. A buddy has a 32" LCD, pc 2.1 speaker and places his g25 on a coffee table lol.

Lol, I'm loving the game. I played gt4 with controller and I lost interest very quickly because I can never really do what I want to do. Now with the G27, it's so much better, i can finally point my car in the right direction. This is a game that u can really play for years and still won't get bored

wow i take back what i said about karting...i'm having a blast on it. any tips of how to recover faster when your kart starts to spin-out?

Is there also a to enter dealership/used cars at the event menu? I wanna compare between cars but i can only remember one or two cars on a car specification list at once.

what i do is i actually put everything down on a txt file on the cars i am interested in..

Lol it's alright, GT5 doesn't do you any favours for having a good sound setup though. IMO the sound effects are garbage. The big screen doesn't make much of a difference, I should move the ps3 upstairs cause we have a sharper 60" LCD TV in the living room. I don't have a wheel or seat yet, but I always sucked at driving with a wheel, maybe because I never took it seriously tho. Maybe if I had a seat setup.

Two questions:
I repeat a race like clubland tournament and win , I didn't receive a price car on my second and third repeat. Is it suppose to not give a free car multiple times?
In special events, I repeatedly played the NASCAR one, but it doesn't pay me money after my first gold attempt.
Am I doing it wrong? I am trying collect money fast, but my ways aren't working, anyone have better way? Or tell me what o am doing wrong

i usually don't countersteer when i start to spin and wait for it to slow down before i slam on the brakes and start to gas out of it

Yea you don't get a car after your first win for any of the tournaments. I just repeat one course over and over if i need money or if i need to level up

old gran turismo openings are still better IMO.. the original moon over the castle sounds better too :thumbsup:



then who could ever forget the north american GT2 opening..?? :D

^ i fucking loved that GT2 opening. it really got me going, i don't like GT4's or GT5's

6:34.972 with the Zonda R on Nurburgring Nordschleife, all aids off with the softest racing tire... the sad thing was..i think i only brought out like 80% of the car, i always turn alot slower than the car capabilities... but saved reply nonetheless.. seriously intense!!!

just have respect for the actual test drivers who did 6:47 in rl life... holy shit... seriously.. i was behind a TV...and i was relecant to "put' my foot down... because i was scared... =.= damn..and i had so called "perfect" conditions!

I want to get this game so that means i'd have to get a ps3 and the game of course. but if you guys all use steering wheels/pedals i'll have to factor that cost in too..

just IMO, i think you would want a wheel to justify the game

I dunno, I think the timelapse is pretty unique..and I actually prefer this new moon over castle..especially at 1:49-1:55 during the scene where the LFA does the overtake in the HSR tunnel.

that's a pretty sick game room...where did he get his chevy bucket seat from? looks like a limited edition playseat?

I've heard from a friend that if you change the oil right when you buy the car old/new it will boost the power of the car... and it only works right after you buy it.
