So... I picked up a Kona Kitsune before my move to Burns Lake. Less than 6 days before I'm biking in the snow and cold!

And their bike fits are $125 right now

what kind of build on the s2 for 2k?

Running the internal cables on my slc, I want to shoot myself in the brain after. Hope I never have to replace a shift cable on the bike for the rest of my life. i think I recall reading the s2 and s3 are even worse

Another frame to unload. Who wants to be King Of the Mountains?
2010 Kuota KOM Equipe Limited Edition in white. Yes, this is not for the faint of heart! Build your ultimate race bike!! This is Kuota's premium bike. Full carbon.
This is how it would look like built up:

That's not the frame I have unfortunately, mine's a bit used, with some paint chips here and there, but no cracks in the carbon as far as I can tell. Does not come with headset, seat post clamp, nor seat clamp (Don't ask).

The LOOK sticker is not hiding anything. :-) You will not find a beefier bottom bracket than on this frame! I really want to keep this frame, but alas, too big for me. Measures about 55cm (Seat tube and Top tube). Here's some more info on the bike if you're interested:

Yes, was a $3,900 frameset when new.
Offers?

Is that a 55cm top tube or seat tube?

I finally had the time to assemble my Kona Kitsune after moving into my new apartment. It's been super busy settling into my new workplace.

There's some snow on the ground already but I'm still thinking of bringing this guy out to the trail to test!

sorry for the dark shot!

dat_steve 11-12-2013 11:48 AM

so i went to my first spin class this morning

not comparable at all to riding outdoors but the trainer eye candy sure does help heh
I can see it as a good way to maintain the legs during the off season (shut up Will) but I don't expect to see any bumps in performance come spring.

where is that? i sold my bike and looking for some excerise to keep me in shape in winter as well

dat_steve 11-12-2013 01:07 PM

i go to anytime fitness in false creek, the have a class every tuesday 6:15am

most gyms offer spin classes of some sort. if you're motivated enough, I would spend the money of a trainer and some videos and ride at home on your own bike. I'm just a lazy noob so I go to spin sessions instead before i lift.
