i filled up last night chevron victoria and 36th and saw no sticker when i filled up |
Filled up at the Willingdon and Hastings with no stickers... weird. |
Wow fuck that. I was wondering why I only got 300km a tank when I usually get 350km/tank. BULLSHIT |

Nope your getting less than a litre. I have had to replace gas pump hose a few times and there was less than a litre in I would say around 500 ml or less . Esso has the additive super awesome 9000 but doesn't like t o brag.:p I remember when shell switched to V-power. people thought it was a new gas formula and it had a a bunch of ne additives in it but it was the same old gas and they changed the name so it would have the same name as other shells around the world. |
^ Octane rating = a measure of how "slowly" a fuel burns. Octane rating and energy density are 2 totally different things. |
bringing this back. why? because, I noticed this: In Burnaby, Imperial I believe http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...S/IMG_1133.jpg In North Delta, Scott Rd. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a2...S/IMG_1138.jpg |
interesting....... |
no way...... that better be a mistake. |
i worked at the one on Cambie and Gardencity for a short period of time and to this day 94 is no ethanol i think it might be the one on Imperial just fucked up on putting the sticker on just kids that work there anyway... just like me :D tuned for 94 FTW!!! |
better god damn be a mistake. i noticed after i pumped and felt a bit ripped off |

Think of it as using different toothpaste. Just because you switch it up every once in a while, it doesn't mean you get better results. I switch it up every once in a while between chevron's 94 and Shell's 91 but that's because I gas it whenever it is convenient. |
I just filled up at Chevron on 16th & MacDonald...the sticker for 94 said "Contains NO ethanol" |

wow wtf, that's a mistake. Good thing all my chevrons are beside the refinery.. mmm..mmm 94. |
Yes, I know. Year old thread. Just wondering because it's been over a year. Has anybody filled up at Shell recently? If so, is Shell 91 ethanol free or does it contain a small percentage? There were some mixed answers in this thread. Thanks |
I filled up at Shell this morning on Knight and 41st. I remember it saying 91 contains no ethanol |
So why is everyone so scared of ethanol? |
My car runs like shit on ethanol blends. I would have been better off buying a 1986 Dodge Aries. |
I switched to Shell a year ago. No ethanol in the 91. |
I always put Chevron 94 in my Audi/BMW. I've noticed in my A5 that when I put a lower grade it gets sluggish, hard to explain but the dealer did say that it's best to put 94. |
