fuk this game sucks. the character randomly moves around. it's unplayable. Pretty much be shooting and then suddenly would move.

its a beta.......not a demo.....

I cant seem to get this running well with Directx 10,
I just switched moniter to 1920x1080, and the screen will flicker with blackbars around.
Seems like an ATi problem with directx 10.

WHAT? and your able to run the game perfectly? What setting to you put it as?

It may be a ram issue... or just server lag.

Ive fiddled around with these game settings
1920x1200 med and low
or
lowest res med and low

Both lag the same but lowest resolution doesnt lag at all when theres no action. Once guns r blazing and tanks blowing shit off I start to lag.

Since Iam having so many issues with the PC version I might get it for ps3

I left all video settings as default, but since its running really smooth right now I am going to see how it does at max settings. Game is also running full screen at 1920 x 1080.

yea this is awkward. getting me really pissed at the pc.

wow i already see servers running a cap of 40 players on a map. hope they upped the life tickers on the attackers

Found something out guys, might help you decide if you should get it from STEAM or EA.


Steam is just used to distribute the game. It is NOT tied to your steam account.

I closed Steam and started the game by the .exe file and it worked. Files are located in your Steam Commons folder but can be moved if you want.


.: Steam and EA versions are identical. I believe the only thing that "ties" the game down is the Beta Key, which probably doubles as your CD Key when the full game is out.

yea, trying to find it, but their stupid server browser SUCKS. no sort by name or anything.

the games not bad whens theres no lag. had a game with 5 ppl, no lag.

The games really fun once you find a server that doesnt lag like shit.

I dont know how you guys have soo much problems with your systems.

I initially DLed this game cause of this thread.. Purchased the game dled and installed. Had issues setting up the video screen on my 42" with win7. Forgot about compatibility mode(duh) and was up in running. So far I get barely any lag issues, i only join servers 50 and under ping. Also I dont understand how some people say all the servers are full. WTF?? I have always found a server with 28/32 to join.. which is great.. I do get the sleep walking once in awhile but i also think it has to do with the wireless keyboard i am using.

All in all Great game.
Yes there are flaws but it is also beta too.

Ive basically maxed out all my packs for beta, so most of the time i just suicide bomb everone.. Strap on some c4 to a cart and go... You lose 10 point but gain 100 everytime.. Especially to the bomb sites.

The full server issues were resolved when they fixed the server browsers. Before that you could only do "Play Now" or w/e and it would auto search for a server.

And as for c4 cart bombing, you have to be alive to get those 300 points for destroying a site. If you die you dont get the points, although it shows you got it, if you press TAB you see you didnt get the points.

Really cause one game it was 4v4 and i only got the first weapon achievment for recon, all i did was cart bombing and it maxed out my recon points since its beta.. So i do think the points are still added to your account. And i know for a fact that winning the rounds does not add to your recon.medic, engineer and assault points. So unless this is another glitch. it worked for me.. Still need to max out my medic since its fairly the hardest to work up, but i find their guns are good for long distance shooting.

Theres no ping in server browser so how can you see under 50 ping?
