That's not what your screencap says.

If you use cheats during your time through the campaign (at ANY point) it'll undo all the achievements you've gotten.

its a bug by blizzard, he most likely replayed the campaign to get the other achievements so it bugged it

my friend and i both have full achievements for colonist achievement tab, but its bugged so that we cant get "Mastery" achievement

I think I've hit a plateau in 1v1 skill.. I've been mostly playing 1v1 comp, and I just don't think i can get any better now.

I don't want to play ladder yet cause I know I'm not ready yet.

any recommendations??

I've watched youtube video, practiced microing in the morning, did push ups at night, jerked off to the rs twanger thread, watched replays from friends, and I even ate kimchi.


I need to get better at 1v1, but I don't what is the next step i should take?

Just start to play some.

I lost the majority of my games early on but i just slowly improved by watching the replays of the games I lost and changing the way I build accordingly.

im first in my silver league ~ over 100 points ahead of the guy in second place
PLUS today i've won EIGHT IN A ROW (but two were disconnects on their end lucky me)

How are you gonna get better if you never actually play a ladder game. All that practice wont help much if you never play against good people, just hop on and play your placements, who gives a shit where you end up.

I started in silver and now now after a few weeks i got into plat everything cept 4v4.

Why not play some custom 1v1 games? Prolly better practice than going up against computers.

only way to get better is to play a lot. dont be scared of ladder cause chances are your first placement match is against a Bronze-level player, and any one who knows at least one build order can beat a Bronze-level player by A-moving to his base. Once placements are done, youre pretty much playing against players of equal skill, so theres nothing to be afraid of.

Also, if you truly wanna get good at the game, download the map called YABOT (Yet Another Build Order Tester) where you can practice your builds over and over and over again.

SC2 is a game of muscle memory, you do one build order over and over until it's second nature to you, then you will naturally get better with speed, micro and macro once you know the proper timings. Once you memorize one build, you move on to another. its just that simple.

You do not get better at sc2 playing AI.
You only grasp the basics of it, just because you are learning what the computer is doing and countering it.
When playing in ladder everyone has their own strategy and plays a lot different.

Thats what makes sc2 so good because every game you don't know whats going to happen

is it just me or did terran just become harder to play as? Did everyone just get better at countering all the terran tactics????? Been playing some platinum/gold team matches and my mmm or tank/viking gets owned now.

I've moved on to protoss now with those badass void rays.

at that level you cant just do MMM or tank viking. u need to use all those units and micro accordingly. There are games were I have almost all terran units on the map

^ what i do to practice is i play this custom map someone made its on TL and what it basically does it train your Macro and Micro at the same time ( build an army to destroy the other while making sure your probe doesn't get killed by a zergling )

I do micro the units. What I mean as a main strategy MMM or tank/viking arent that effective anymore. I do always scout + prepare to counter what they have but it feels like mmm and tank/viking got nerfed.

Maybe it's just me and I suck at terran all of a sudden lol.

Try a different build.

In the early stages just pump out marines. then pump out tanks. get 2 barracks 2 factory total. Stop pumping tanks change to Thors.
Ive found that mass marines and thors is almost unstoppable (with upgrades).
And only pump out vikings if u see broodlords carriers.

i don't know if i do a proper baneling bust, but i just keep right clicking into what i wanna bust ahah.

i would like to know how to do it properly also

press x for them to explode D: i noticed its faster to do it instead of right clicking a supply depot..because sometimes the baneling just rolls up to it but doesnt explode.

wow, I just reailzed this map editor is a piece of shit.
Can't even find maps, and have to do some fked up publish thing.
Then I can't even find where the maps are stored or how to play my own custom maps.

This whole systems shit compared to SC1.
What happened to save as... drag and drop in windows explorer. Done?

Sometimes, keeping things simple is the best method.
There isn't even a campaign editor help when you press F1.
Fuck, you have to go online to some message board, log in and post on a forum.
Gonna take forever to get my answers.
