Only churches open in Richmond today was the new location. Business was bumpin', nothing like some fried chicken to add to the christmas meal.

My friend and I went through the drive through at midnight on Christmas eve for a snack and had quite the experience. We waited at the box where you order for about 15 minutes because they didn't realize we were there. We couldn't pull forward either because there were cars in front of us, so we waited. When they finally acknowledged us, the conversation pretty much went like this:

Churches: Hi what can I get for you?
Friend: Can I get a ____ wrap?
Churches: Sorry we don't have wraps
Friend: Oh. Can I get a small ice cream cone then?
Churches: Sorry the ice cream machine is not working
Friend: ...

Needless to say, it was not exactly a pleasant experience, but given that they opened the day before, it was understandable and we didn't make a fuss out of it. I've gone back to churches since (not via drive through) and everything was fine and dandy.

:fuckyea:for living 5 minutes away from LA Chicken and now Churches.

I have never seen so many white people working at a church's chicken.

I literally used to eat Chesters 5 days a week back in highschool, the one on Victoria drive inside that grocery store, drumstick + mojo for like $3 or something like that lol... this was almost 20 years ago though. :concentrate:

Is that the one with the picture of the chicken wearing a checkered hat.?

For late night fried chicken fix when your favorite place is closed, one option is the 7 eleven on Kingsway and Joyce. Their chicken wings and mojo fries are pretty good. They make them different than any other 7 elevens.
