ShadowBun 03-12-2012 12:02 AM

man that was too fast
way too fast (Im not even comparing to the comic too)

jeedee 03-12-2012 12:02 AM

I'm a bit confused. Didn't really focus and dozed off a bit lol

So how did Randall turn into a walker? All I saw was him falling in the forrest...

And how did Shane turn aswell?

I thought you could only turn if you were bit? And do you guys think there's any significance of the walker "flashback" prior to Shane turning?

if you remember in the episode where rick and shane go to kill randall in a fenced off area, Rick finds two dead officers laying side by side and says "these two don't have any bite marks". In the latest episode during the wood scene, they turn over a zombies and mention it doesn't have any bite marks either.

Were you sure that randall turned into a zombie? I might just be losing it, but i don't remember that part at all. Can anyone confirm?

As for the flashback,... no idea...

Pretty sure he turned.

Remember when Daryl and Glen were "looking for Randall after he escaped" and that walker showed up?

Pretty sure it was him.

His neck was snapped by shane wasn't it? When you die, u turn into a walker I guess so that's what happened to him

i thought you only turn into a walker when u get infected by another... it seems like when u die u automatically turn into a walker... this shit getting cray, think they'll survive the next episode? i think so cause now that the house is reenforced and they have a food supply stocked up in the basement they'll live.

Ron_Swanson 03-12-2012 01:35 AM

Yeah, that's what i thought too. But when Lori said she was pregnant Rick was shocked as hell.

fsy82 03-12-2012 08:27 AM

Vansterdam 03-12-2012 08:46 AM

bout time for the GOVERNOR

shit just got real

JKam 03-12-2012 09:24 AM

That episode wasn't THAT crazy. I think i might be desensitized since I started reading the comics (halfway through).

I don't get how all those zombies suddenly heard those 2 gun shots. And why Carl didn't tell his dad about Shane coming back. Idiot kid.

Gh0stRider 03-12-2012 09:27 AM

ya i dont get how randall and shane turned...

airborne virus? lol

Vansterdam 03-12-2012 09:31 AM

i dont think even in the comic they ever find out where it came from.

could be airborne, couldof been something they ate or drank?

and yea i agree the shit that happens in the comics is way better then the shit they put on tv

JKam 03-12-2012 09:38 AM

Shane and Randall turned into zombies because (it's been said a couple posts up but in case you missed it)
Spoiler!

ari.gold 03-12-2012 09:41 AM

The virus is airborne and you become infected when you die.

This is speculation of what the doctor whispered to Rick before the lab blew up. And it explains how city's got overrun and spread so quickly.

Perhaps the reason why Carl did not tip off his dad about the walker behind him was because of his loss of confidence and respect for himself. In the last episode, his encounter with the walker, who eventually killed Dale, proved that he was a coward and incapable of not only protecting his crewmembers, but also himself, despite the multiple occasions where both Shane and Rick pushed him to be more independent (e.g. training him to use and carry a firearm).

When Carl was pointing his gun at the walker (oblivious to Rick), I want to believe that Carl wasn’t a completely useless and senseless being in a post-apocalyptic zombie infested world and, instead, simply wanted to prove to his dad and, more importantly, to himself that he is capable of protecting his own. If this is in fact true, then I think it was totally sensible for Carl to not have said anything as Rick would have indefinitely intervened before Carl could have made that precise head-shot. Once that shot was made, Carl almost immediately reinstated the courage and respect lost earlier within him.

Lol just read a hilarious post on the srk forums:

Suddenly it all makes sense to me why T-Dawg is just never there and in the shadows of the show (pun intended). Since season one, when was the last time you saw a black person? Can't remember? BECAUSE THEY'RE ALL DEAD. Being the last black person on Earth, T-Dawg has sensed this due to some supernatural link he has as a black person (think of when identical twins sense when the other has died) and has decided to not do shit while he's at the farm. He's seen too many horror films and shows to realize that black people always get fucked up... and he's right to think that. Who were the first people Rick met out of the hospital? Black dad and kid with a dead wife/mom. They're probably dead by now. Who was the only other black person on the show besides T-Dawg? Old black lady that said FUCK THIS GAY EARTH I DON'T WANT TO LIVE ON THIS PLANET ANYMORE and decided to get blown up in an explosion. T-Dawg knows. HE KNOWS. He knows if he gets involved with all these crazy ass white people that can't even watch a kid when they don't even have responsibilities like working a job, he's as good as dead. Best thing to do is just stay hidden and let all the crazy white people do all the work and die before he does.

IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW.

i'm pretty sure it was getting colder outside as rick said they cannot live in the tents any longer. I think he also mentioned these walkers must be getting more ridged from the weather as well.

I dont see why there needs to be an explanation for a swarm of zombies...

But yeah they killed zombie shane way too fast...should've saved him for the next episode so he can have a nice revenge on the survivors.

I thought shane and rick wandered off pretty far into the woods...but i think in one of the closing scenes when the swarm of zombies showed up the house was still in the background not too far off when Carl showed up.
