Does anyone have the MKTG 1102 or ORGB 1105 syllabus(part-time studies, if that makes a difference)? I want to see what the workload looks like.

dlo 03-12-2013 03:41 PM

i did mktg 1102 but orgb 1100... i did the full time program and it was quite a bit of work for mtkg, 4 case studies for mktg, few test, quizzes, and 2 assignments

a00755836 03-13-2013 06:48 PM

2 Attachment(s)
heres mktg:

Attachment 16085
Attachment 16086

sorry, cant find orgb outline. orgb not as much work, but very BORING! no projects, but lots of group case studies/assignments. midterm class avg was 56%. my whole class basically guessed all the questions. i was top 10 in my class even though i only got ~65%. i make up marks by class assignments so final mark just under 80%.

Damn going from McGill to BCIT.. But I have a feeling you're asking on behalf of your sister lulz

J.C 03-15-2013 01:40 PM

Applying for like UBC and SFU right now
If I don't get accepted to UBC Kines I may decide between SFU arts and BCIT
Went through the course list and saw automotive service tech and it caught my eye
Never done anything auto related and little knowledge, but I have an interest in cars
Anyone dong automotive service tech and could tell me a little bit about the course?

mb_ 03-15-2013 01:47 PM

Since you said you've never done anything automotive before, take automotive technician foundation.

I'm at work right now so I'll get into detail later unless someone else like CorneringArtist can explain to you

I wanted to take summer courses to transfer back but they said it's not "university level"

kd2 03-22-2013 08:06 PM

Hey guys, so I am thinking of taking electrical foundations at bcit; anyone in here currently taking it or has taken it? If so how difficult is it to get a job as a apprentice after you finish the foundations course?
