Micheal is an idiot though, and those who are in the program now have every right to complain about the recent loss of their engineering accreditation. They need to get someone else in charge of the program before it gets run into the ground. Oh and Chris Makela if you are in Econ is an absolute Jewel, what a hilarious dude. I was in Architecture though....:okay: |
My cousin is also in ABET and she was ALWAYS at school. She thought about dropping out because of the workload and shit like that but the last time I talked to her she changed her mind and stayed. I was in trades but that was no walk in the park either. Slacked off in the last few months and it almost cost me! |

Myron just recently retired so Julia took over. Apparently she's been cutting alot of the projects for the Arch students this year but they're still slammed 24/7. The entire program needs an overhaul in my opinion. There's no coordination between classes and instructors are always clueless as to what's going on with other instructor due dates etc mb_ who is your cousin? |
Time to bring it up to the dean. |
I was in ABET too 2 years ago. After 2 semesters, I dropped out. Best decision ever |
For the sake of sharing some insight, may I ask why you dropped out? |
ECET Program, ELEX 2115 instructor is a joke, only signed for half a semester and already got the whole class against him. Might be my lowest mark. Gandham is the best teacher I know at BCIT, him and Eric Hiobs. |

ECET is hard as hell i'm in 3rd semester, Telecom. Be ready for more work, get's a little more interesting after first year though. |

1. NE1 is depressing. No windows in most classrooms and food in the cafeteria sucks. Parking lot sucks too because it always fills up. So I just park at the teacher spots. I still have 12 outstanding impark tickets. Only good thing about NE1 is that there are some pretty interior designers though. I like creeping them :) But I should've went to marketing, I heard the bitches there are better. 2. My grades were average. I didn't want to be average in my career. And trust me, I tried. Math fucking sucks especially when its involved in most of your classes. 3. For anyone wanting to be an architect, the road to being a registered architect is a LONG, painful process. Lots of experience needed, exams and the bachelors is needed obviously. Before that, you'll have to just be happy being an Architectural Technologist...pretty lame and even lamer pay. Not happy. Credible source: My dad's a registered architect of AIBC. 4. Realized architecture is not my passion but instead design in general. And anything to do with business. So I left with a fellow friend I met there and created our own venture. Never looked back. ABET blows, except when you see the pretty asian interior designer girls walk by. Sorry Yaminashi, I wish you good luck in your exams :fullofwin: |
NE1 is a depressing shithole alright…. BTW who just picked up a white Evo 9 on gold CE28N's? Noticed it around lately. Looks good, I love Evo's |
Where on the website can I find an enrollment letter to print out? |
Anyone graduate as a public health inspector/environmental health officer that has a job in that field now? Would love to pick your brains lol |
Been in dat NE1 for the last like 4 years :/ Posted via RS Mobile |
campus is eerily quiet. |

SFU is a vacation compared to 30+ hrs per week + another 30 hrs studying/doing projects/assignments. I laughed at my advisor when in my first term at SFU she said 5 courses might be to much workload. |
