i couldn't really tell you... i don't go to any lectures, i just hit up the labs
but just from the first day, he seemed pretty cool.

for those of you in finman, shit gets tough 2nd year. first year was a breeze, and second year is fun lol. finance reports was such a joke of a course. i think a lot of you will start to see people getting weeded out after first semester. for some reason people like to fail accounting 1 lol

anyone here taking/took the Computer Information Systems Administration program?

I was actually 10mins late for my bmath midterm cause my bus came late. Partly my fault but I still finished the test with 10mins to spare. Left one question blank cause my calculator got an error and gave up. Test was pretty easy overall. What set are you in?

Joe seems like a cool guy and all but I find his lectures pointless to go to. Weren't you in my OB class last year at Langara? What set are you in :O

that sucks LOL when i did comm 2 years ago it was open book for everything lol.

i'm pretty sure they won't cuz the books i have were changed on my year. accounting standards moving to ifrs instead of gaap

Im in Set-D. yeah its closed book this year cause peopple were copying straight outta the textbook... i found the emails pretty easy and same with math... i heard second year was suppose to get easier ... then again i only have 4 courses right now but 10 next semester =(

hows busa2100 wasnt a big fan of orb1100 whe i took it. and is there an internship course in the second semester of second year??

anyone know how lenient they are with marks?

I'm looking to get into IT program and my marks are above their requirement except for english 12. i need C+ but i have C, just missed C+ by 1% lol.

whoever told you 2nd year was easier has either done all the courses before or had a smaller course load or is just REALLY good at absorbing knowledge.

finance is fucking horrible cuz of all the formulas you have to know how to use. tax is a gigantic mind fuck cuz the way everything is worded in the act doesn't make any sense to a normal person. cost isn't too bad of a course if you're able to look at a formula and figure out how to plug n play to get other numbers. audit is memorization and mostly theory. int. accounting is all assets. computers is easy and most people take blaw in the summer cuz it's the easiest course.

also for you first year guys, i heard that if you do plan on doing your btech, that taking advanced accounting isn't worth it because in the end you're still gonna do it in btech anyways. most people opted for quants cuz it transfers to cga and it's a fall back. others did tax cuz it's just 2 presentations the whole year and is almost a write off course cuz jenn figner is really chill.

What's the difference between b.tech and bba... I know their different degrees but what else.. And what is quants

Other guys in fmgt 1 what did you guys get on math midterm.. I got 80% I guess I got overconfident on this exam after I got 100 on the first one. Stupid mistakes...
