Bah I don't like this part-time programming class.

Can you withdraw from the course anytime you want?

Is it going to affect anything if i do it?

JKam 02-13-2014 09:54 AM

You can withdraw any time but at some point you get a W on your transcript instead of just dropping the course. Check the dates with your program head.

bcrdukes 02-13-2014 09:59 AM

What don't you like about it?

chin3se604 02-15-2014 03:14 PM

has anyone ever appealed a ticket for parking in a visitors spot with an e permit? I got the ticket 4 mins after i parked there to grab some books.

( they cancelled my ticket, aww yeah )

That moment when you start term two, with almost all your term one guys, + one new guy that did not pass term two the year before.

So I ask him how many guys did not pass term two when he was in it with the same instructor.
"Ugh,,, about half id say"

There go my hopes to finish my program....

Hello RS BCIT thread,

Like many of you simple folks, my GF was not capable of getting into UBC, so she has to suffer with BCIT :troll:

Seriously though, we are moving back to Van for Fall 2014 as she will be attending BCIT for insurance and risk management diploma. Don't even try it, she will just "friend zone" you as she loves me so much, really she only loves my money, whatever, I'm shallow too.

Can you fine folks give a little advice in terms of getting to and from BCIT, we want to live DT... not sure if that's a good/bad idea or where specially we could live downtown that will enable her to have a simple and short daily commute.

Thanks girls <3 You all mean so very much to me <3

bcrdukes 02-18-2014 04:38 PM

If you want to her to have a simple and short daily commute, find a place in and around the Brentwood Mall and Gilmore Station area. Lots of nice, new condos and developments in the area. I believe a few RS members live in the area and your essentials are literally walking distance (1 - 2 blocks'ish.)

If you must live downtown, well, she's going to have to Skytrain it every day or drive. Which is better is for you to decide. The good thing is that it's opposing traffic to and from BCIT if her program is F/T.

Brenthood! Is it safe to park my M3 in underground? :( lol I don't mean to sound ignorant, I'm just been living a sheltered life in N.Van too long...

Thanks for reply though sir!

I've got quite a few friends at school that live in the downtown or kits area. They seem to have a decent commute everyday, but who knows what time they wake up. There has been the odd time though that the skytrain breaks down. Then she would be late for sure.

That being said I'd have to agree with bcrdukes. Try to find somewhere close by. Although my commute nowadays isn't that bad from Poco due to that 4th lane, there are tons of times when I wish I was just a few minutes away.

The last thing you want after a long day at BCIT is to commute
