I drove one of my kids to work at 5:30 am. Didn't see a bit of snow and by the looks of it, no snow at all for a while. |
if it didn't snow up here on the side of a mountain, i'd call the forecast a major fail. |
3-4" here and still falling. |
Fuck all in Abby - got a dusting overnight and this morning it's raining on it :seriously: |
still snowing up here just enough to immobilize my car |
dam weather trolled us. below 0 when theres no precipitation but above 0 when there is.. |
Guys, drive with caution. Black ice everywhere this morning. Posted via RS Mobile |

whalley's a skating rink. i swear keiichi tsuchiya is moonlighting for translink they way the community shuttle i was following drifted around the corner at the central city transit loop  |
yah wow... winter tires or NO winter tires... it was super slippery... i'm sure if I had my all seasons on I may have been one of the many that wiped / spun out this morning. |
Some douche in a black 3-series this morning was tailgating me and almost took it into the curb on black ice while I was taking a left turn this morning. Serves him right, ass. |
Got to see some idiot in a fox body Mustang convertible spin out and hit a parked car this morning. |
dayum it was slippery out there drive careful guys |
Dem BFG All-terrains had me miss like 4 rear Enders this morning of clowns driving like 20km down steep hills. People need to fucking think about the vehicles around them not just themselves. There's no reason to be jamming up traffic and endangering others when there's no one ahead of you Posted via RS Mobile |
I'd rather someone jam up traffic than to be flying on the road. Posted via RS Mobile |
Braking in the middle of a hill which is a sheet of ice with people behind you and absolutely no hazards in front is far more dangerous to yourself and others than simply letting the car move on it's own at a reasonable speed. Posted via RS Mobile |
studded snow/ice tires and i was having trouble with traction on my way to work this morning :accepted: |

Lol oh little but hurt ch28.. The 89 corolla with bald all-seasons braking on ice is going to end up in the ditch far before I do. If you think braking on ice on a downhill slope is good driving practice then you'll probably end up in the ditch like the other clowns I passed today. Don't know wtf I'm doing! Yet I've always had winters and always made it to work and always made it safely to the interior in the winter and never had an accident! Shit son! Posted via RS Mobile |

Why is that so hard for you to comprehend? Having their car go downhill at a "reasonable speed" means that it'll eventually pick up speed from the momentum. It means theyre absolutely fucked if there is any ice on the bottom of the hill. No amount of tread or super tire will stop you at that point. Posted via RS Mobile |
