My Jeep rolls on Silent Armor year-round, mountain/snowflake rated, I'm golden

Gnomes 11-11-2015 05:39 PM

Hope my new Nokian WRG3 can withstand reasonably

murd0c 11-11-2015 05:39 PM

Gotta love my Duratrac's

GabAlmighty 11-11-2015 05:52 PM

Debating on snowies. Haven't decided yet though.

fliptuner 11-11-2015 06:17 PM

Put on all weathers last week (snow rated), good balance of cold weather handling, water evacuation and wear. I'll swap to snows if it actually snows.

matrixfwd 11-11-2015 06:26 PM

For those of you who also got separate non oem wheels, is yours lugcentric or hubcenteric? Please school me, it seems the black steelies j see are lugcentric

!Yaminashi 11-11-2015 07:00 PM

Fuck snow. Everybody loses their shit and the roads turn to shit and I'm in commuter hell.

westopher 11-11-2015 07:03 PM

Hmm looks like I'll swap mine tomorrow if it isn't raining too hard.

We've had WRG2s for years now, they work really well for what we get in southwestern BC (small amounts of wet snow). If you're heading to places where snow is deeper and more common, though, they're probably not ideal.

Has anyone done the drive up the coquihala into Kelowna / Kamloops / Interior yet?

MG1 11-11-2015 10:29 PM

Frick, I guess it's time to put on the Hakkapelitta's. Not going to stop raining, so maybe install them at some underground parking lot, hee hee. For truck, I'll get Costco to install them. Them things are too heavy for an old man like me.

Yup. Some snow on the Summit and Helmers, but not too bad.

mb_ 11-12-2015 01:24 AM

Put my winters on 2 weeks ago.

RWD + snow.... :fullofwin:

Gucci Mane 11-12-2015 01:26 AM

Liquid_o2 11-12-2015 10:12 AM

Can't believe it is already mid November. I'll put on my Hakkapelitta's the weekend of Nov 21 I think. They only have one more season left on them, so hopefully they will be ok this year.

westopher 11-12-2015 10:24 AM

Whistler is opening early. The race begins.

fishCak3s 11-12-2015 11:30 AM

This rain fall warning will most likely wash all that away on Cypress

Volvo-brickster 11-12-2015 09:21 PM

I don't plan on mounting winters until feb and that's only because i plan to go up the Coquihalla

All seasons will be perfect for El Nino :rofl:

Last year was stupid....i had winters on for all of 4 weeks then pulled them because of all the rain.

Reeyal 11-13-2015 05:41 AM

Last's year snow fall was abysmal, which turned skiing season into poor. :sleepingzz:

StylinRed 11-16-2015 05:29 AM

we might get some wet snow this morning before turning to rain, according to the news & web sites
