About to go attempt Groceries, good news is if I get off my side street and make it to the store it should be dead.

i saw one of these abandoned in the middle of a side street intersection in west van. it was completely covered in snow so it must have been there at least overnight. the snow plows had gone around it and it's become like a traffic circle :thumbsup:

they were just talking about these on the radio. car2go is starting to phase these out and bring in c-class mercs and on other model (i forget what it was) so the days of these smart cars are numbered.

that is what the traffic report said. there was no mention of anyone getting hit.

it's weird where i am right now... it's blizzard like, but it's the light fluffy stuff that won't stick to the ground. there is so much of it that visibility is poor :confused:

I went over to my parents' place to shovel their walk, and found that a nice neighbor walked their snow blower through their sidewalk. Thanks, nice neighbor!!

Went all the way from Nvan to cabelas in Abby and then back. Highway is pretty clear, and with a good set of snowies it was fine, but I can see how switching lanes or taking off ramps might be hazardous with 3-season tires.

Lots (a dozen each way) of cars abandoned in the ditch, I'm guessing from last night.

Winter tires are awesome. I love driving down the snowy side streets and not going on the established ruts. I like to make growling sounds while I do this.

Cla and gla with 4matic. I think they're keeping the newer smart car and phasing out the old. It's dumb how none of the car shares has winter tires

No legal requirement to put snows on = no point on their end for the expenditure.

Some people are just idiots on the road in this weather. I was driving home coming from marine onto Main Street and a truck had his hazards on dropping someone off in the right lane. The second incident was when I was driving down 57th just before knight street, some guy in his BMW X5 had his hazards on causing people to drive onto oncoming traffic to go around him. He even had his window rolled down smoking a cigarette and had the nerve to honk back at the people honking at him.

Haha I do the same thing and my gf thinks I'm weird. I especially love driving outside of the established ruts when there are other cars around and they look at me like I'm from another planet

Pretty much snowed in @Vancouver. Nothing is ploughed on 4th zzzz. Coming down hard.
