MWR34 stolen vehicle UPDATE FIRST OFF, the pics below IS THE TOW TRUCK that TOWED my car. He is the primary Suspect, but as always, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. This is the tow truck, the owner, was taken in to police, and Admitted to towing it, So do not come into this thread thinking im making False accusations. The pics and videos that show the tow truck that some of you have seen has been postively identified, he was taken in for questioning, admitted to Towing my car, but as per the request of the "owner" to a mechanic shop in PoCo. So the police are following this trail of BS, and pulling his cell phone records of the same night. Sounds very Shady to me, this is his statement in a nut shell. " Yes I remember towing that car, it was very nice. I was called to that address by a person who claimed he owned the car, and needed it towed to PoCo. when i arrived at the car, there were no keys and the car was locked. I then called him back, asked where the keys were, and he said, sorry I lost them, I just moved, and I need it towed to this mechanic in PoCo near my house. The tow truck driver then towed it, to the address he requested, then commented, the business plaza where it went to had many mechanic shops in the plaza." My questions would be, Where is the receipt for this tow? If he called you, then you called him, you have his number... what is it? ( guess with phone records it can be traced easily ) You knowingly towed a car, without proof of ownership, with no keys, so BS story? When you brought it to "PoCo" you didnt just leave it near a mechanics shop, you had to have met someone right? I mean, someone paid you for this tow Right? you dont work for free? Who did you meet to get paid for this Tow? The phone number on the side of the tow truck isnt listed. Isn't advertising any tow services, not online, not on craigslist, anywhere. the number is a ghost online.... How did this mystery person contact your unlisted number... calling a tow company from Vancouver, to tow a car in New West... to PoCo.... Makes perfect sense to me. The police has a willfully written and signed statement, that he towed the car away, and dropped it off somewhere else, without verifying proof of ownership. Legally what can I do here? Im getting a lawyer. and here are the pics of the incident/videos, and the suspects vehicle at a later date: http://img812.imageshack.us/img812/2878/imagezzz.jpg http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/4202/image2vo.jpg http://img46.imageshack.us/img46/774/image3ygy.jpg http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/6697/ks5.mp4 http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/4685/anr.mp4 And I have two people to thank to get it to this point, C-Unit and the help from Public Storage in New West. Not the Police..... Thank me if you like where this is going, and want this kind of People off the streets. |
When the police questioned him regarding who payed for the tow, what did he say? Are you able to tell us.. |
I've seen that tow truck before, many times driving around richmond and vancouver. I thought I heard that Takada owned that tow truck or something. Under 5 mins to tow seems pretty crazy too. No call to the owner no doubt. |

takeda has always been good to me, so do not get them involved, the truck was a HINO, and not RHD. If that helps ease your mind. |
 good to see some progress.. hope this guy gets shafted.. |
so wheres the car? |
Getting closer to catching these crooks  |
I see that truck all the time on mitchell island dropping off scrap cars the owner is a shady looking black guy (no racist) |
Wow... GJ OP but wait... isn't this the tow truck that's always parked on SW Marine drive? (I see a VERY similar Hino Flatbed everyday while going to school) riiight around here (always parked where the porta-potty + dumpster is in the streetview image) http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&sourc...154.17,,0,7.24 **EDIT: just took a detailed look at OP's pictures.... seems to be the one! |
hmmm in for updates! driver's story is definitely bullshit. |

nice to hear there's progress |
Second Video 0:20 - Truck pulls in 1:05 - Flash light goes on and off looking at car 1:30 - Appears that the car is on the truck as it drives by on the street. |
I hope your car is in good condition after this mess is over with. Have they any whereabouts of where the car is yet? Did the police tell you what the tow truck driver say during the interrogation? |
Police are probably following a dead lead to where the car might be... No, no one but him knows where it went. I hope phone records show otherwise. |
This needs some more drama... The Dr.Mike (Anthony Espinosa) thread set the bar pretty high. |
yeah, i was curious too. where's the car now? edit: posted too late |
Everybody go to the address I posted and stick posters on the truck! (ads for sex services etc...) |
should hire someone to steal his truck |
Never seen a hook driver yet that would pick up or drop off a vehicle without cash in hand. He either gets money or credit card on the spot or the vehicle goes to an impound yard until he gets paid. They never drop off without money...they have been stung so many times that they either have the car or the cash. This guy's story, as you told us, sounds fake. |

wow can't wait for updates. shouldn't be long now, i doubt the tow truck driver was the primary suspect though. probably a friend of the person who wanted your car for whatever reason, or just paid to do so did he tow the car singlehandedly? i can't watch the videos for some reason also why was your thread before deleted? at police request? if so, you should watch some of what you're saying in here Quote:
also, this is a HUGE hint as to where the car is (or was) Quote:
good luck man, looking forward to good updates |
nice to see that there is progress. |
