When you go through the drive-through, the attendant doesn't hand you the debit/credit machine and instead takes your card and taps it, and doesn't give you a receipt. Then he/she give you the  face when you ask for a receipt.
If you're not going to let me see how much I'm paying, you're giving me a receipt to show me how much I got charged. Sorry if I'm supposed to assume some stranger working for minimum wage isn't capable of making a mistake or doing something shady.

I'm sure there are exceptions but generally this is why I don't lend high amounts of money to friends anymore. If it's a small amount and it's a good friend I'll just give them the money knowing they'll return the favor down the road.

It also grinds my gears when I'm in a school zone, not a park zone, and someone goes 30kmh during the summer.
