Correct. Yes, you buy the app for $50, download and install it, it's small and does not come with any maps. When you open it there's a wizard that prompts you to download the maps that are available to you. Your version will be North America so you can pick and choose which ever states/provinces maps you wish to install. Navigon offers this to save space and only install what you need. If space is not any issue then select all maps. There is no extra charge since you already paid for the app...

The maps are downloaded locally, they do not require data once installed. Weather and traffic require data, maps do not

How many years does it take before the carrier agrees to unlock the phone for you?

once you've paid off the subsidy for your phone, the carrier will charge you $50 and unlock your phone.

Backup is always recommended before any software update.
At the end of the day you shouldn't lose anything doing OTA updates going from iOS5 to iOS6

how do you update to IOS5 on iphone 4 without going to IOS6?
I suspect going to IOS6 would be too slow for the 4

jtanner_ 09-29-2012 06:49 PM

^ answer is 2 posts above yours.

I'm using ios6 on my ip4 and it's significantly faster than my JB on 5.0.

Does this happen to any of you while using the iphone 4S? When you accidentally call the wrong number and quickly hang up and when you try to call the right number it ends up calling the previous number called
