is there anywhere available to unlock iphone 4s? |
So, I figured out that because of my custom icon for PvZ, it's not working... Is there anyway where I can just delete that one icon? Because I kinda like the rest of the icons actually... or there is no way? |
anyone know the replacement cost of the glass cover? dropped it and now its cracked like a spider web. screen still works as i'm still using it but near the earpiece part, part of the white underneath the glass is also broken, so i guess i need to replace that and the glass. |

And will i lose all my contacts and numbers when i jailbreak it?? (i am hoping to transfer every contact from my berry to my iphone). Do i have to drain the battery before charging it or what technique do i do with the battery to get the most efficient life? |

Hey there sindragon, first of all, congrats on your upgrade! I've gone from symbian Nokias (N95+N97) to the iphone 3GS, and then onto the 4s, and I honestly loved my upgrades... 1) Play with the 4s for a month or so before deciding whether or not to upgrade. For example, I was in the same boat, but after a mere 2 weeks, the basic out-of-the-box functions of the phone was enough to keep me happy, so I didn't go the JB route. -As for the contacts, there are a number of free apps that you can use. For example, an App that I used in the past was called "iDrive"... 2) Battery tips... you can go online and find a million different answers. The surefire way to do it is take out the new 4s out of the box, connect with the laptop and set your iTunes up. -After setting it up, put the phone on the charger and let it charge up to full. Mind you, the phone will have a battery percentage of around 60% straight out of the box. So you just want to top it up. 3) Apps? There's an old thread with alot of goodies, so do some RS search! -NOTE, set up iCloud and the "Findmyiphone" app asap, because it'll be useful if you misplace or lose your phone. -NOTE, becareful with downloading apps, because 2 out of 5 apps that you download may have a internal bug that will deplete your iphone battery life like MAD. -One way to check is, go to SETTINGS>GENRRAL>USAGE>scroll down to time since last full charge, "usage" and "standby" SHOULD read different numbers. IF both usage and standby reads the same number, it means you have a bug, and the bug won't let the phone go into stand-by mode...and your phone will drain like no tmmrw. Battery-life is meh, but with heavy-usage it lasts me 2 days... I do minimal talk, heavy texting, and lots of wifi. Hope this helps!:smug: |

picked up an iPhone 4 couple days ago, it's been upgraded to ios5 ( not sure if the latest firmware), but i've been getting signal problems like crazy. It will be crystal clear, then it will just cut out with the other person echoing. I thought my phone was a defect, but this made me believe it wasn't. https://discussions.apple.com/thread...rt=15&tstart=0 anyone else experiencing these problems? Im with rogers |

Say you get 8 hours of usage on your phone now, if you fix the problem, you can most likely double the usage... Here is a list of things that I tried for mine before finding one that actually worked. -Reboot device a couple of times. -open up safari, and CLOSE all windows. Then restart the device. It is believed that the open windows/tabs keeps the iphone from going into stand-by mode. -Delete the apps that you think may be suspicious of bugs, delete and re-install them -plug iphone into iTunes, do a FULL back-up. Then reset iphone to factory settings. Then restore your back-up onto the phone again. -Drain your iphone to 0%, then top it up again. WHAT did work for mine was rebooting my device numerous times. NOTE: I download new apps every now and then, and I always check the stand-by settings. And I will always know instantly if I have downloaded an app with a bug, because the stand-by number will be messed up. The "bug" simply refers to errors in the App software that creates loops and cycles that runs in the background of the phone; that prevents the phone from fully going into stand-by mode. Hope you resolve the problem soon!:toot: |
if you close all the apps and get the same kind of usage, it's most likely a cydia app. though i've never had this problem, i've never encountered an app from apptrackr (installous) that gave this kind of error (~170 apps). |
Does anyone have this problem? When I email pictures, put them in Dropbox, or even import via USB, they're upside down when I see view them on my computer. They're the right side up in my Photos app, and my camera was correctly oriented when I take pictures. I end up having to rotate everything manually on my computer. |
