The new iPhone will look amazing if it has a front flash, just like the Blackberry, but with a modern sharp, and sleek LED light tho. I hope that the colour is customizable. On top, the others aint really a big deal. For example, using the phone while syncing. One thing that i think will be placed in the new iphone is NFC, Near Field Communication, or iWallet. That technology will be our new way of payment in the near future. Hope that the new iPhone will be another "game changer"!!

In terms of hardware, a bigger screen is a must for me.

In terms of software, I want:

A better integrated sharing feature like the one found on Android. They definitely did that right.

A much better youtube app with features found on the desktop website.

A built-in Quick reply feature.

Those 3 things would make me very happy.

iPhone 4S came out on Oct 14, 2011 and Apple probably won't release the new one less then 12 months after the last one so 4S owners don't get mad. So my guess will be after Oct 14, 2012 :D

yeah that's true but it's stupid for people to buy the iPhone 4s. iPhone 4 users can now download siri directly from cydia and it is fully intergrated into the system too.

Why is it stupid? They got an upgraded camera and the phone is faster....

Exactly. The reason Apple wants Siri on A5 devices is not because of the faster processor power but because of the audio processing circuitry in the A5. Siri will work on a 4, but it's not as accurate. Of course, the people demoing it will never show you times it makes mistakes as they want to (for some odd reason) make people think it's exactly the same.

can't you downgrade if you saved ur blobs? u'll have to take it in non-jb form for any sort of warranty anyways, not to mention that might solve you problem.

as everyone knows, rogers only brings back the 6GB data plan during an iphone release.

speaking to a relations manager yesterday, she gave my gf 3 months unlimited data for free which at the end of the 3 months, is when rogers will bring back the 6GB data plan.

i proceeded to ask her if thats when the new iphone will be released, and she said "off the record" yes, that is why they are bringing that plan back.

so take it for what it's worth, but it looks like we are looking at a mid summer release.

Don't feel like creating a new thread so I'll post this here... My gf just lost her iphone 4s today at a party :/ Someone went in her bag and stole it. Her dad deactivated her sim card before I could tell him to stop, so the phone pretty much won't be connected to the internet unless the guy turns it on and turns on the wifi. Location services are off. We remote locked it on icloud already, but not too sure what to do now. The phone was turned off the moment the guy took it. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do?

If you mean if there is anyway to retrieve it the answer is no. But it's a good thing you remote locked it so you at least protect your gf's information.

It's not in mint condition, it's been dropped a lot of times so there are knicks on all corners of the bezel, the front white glass of the phone on the bottom right corner is also chipped a bit. It's locked to Rogers, and there's an old invisible shield on it that makes the phone look a bit yellow. The top piece of the invisible shield that's in between the headphone jack and power button rubbed off. Suspected guy's names are Paul, Kevin, and Andy (not posting last names. Please don't go around accusing people just because they have the same first names as they are very common. Just posting this in case someone does run into a guy with this name selling an iPhone 4S 16gb that matches all the specs). It was stolen in a party in Vancouver, and the people that I'm suspecting live around East Hastings and Vancouver

I know that the guy might have taken the invisible shield off, but the chip on the bottom right part of the front white glass should be pretty unique. The phone was stolen last night, so if it appears on Craigslist or something it should be on or after April 7th. I also know that it's a long shot, but every little bit helps... I'll be offering a reward, and my undying gratitude to whoever finds it, if it does get found. I do have the IMEI #, but want to refrain from blacklisting it for a few weeks or so in case it does get found. Thanks a lot

Tried calling it the second we realized it was gone and the phone was shut off. Tried tracking it as well but since the phone is shut off, we can't see it :/ I've been refreshing the icloud page since last last night and since I woke up today to see if the guy turned it on, but no luck so far

Out of nowhere my iphone 4 with jb'd 5.0.1 drastically declined in battery life, losing a couple % per 5 min during standby. Upgraded to 5.1 and it got fixed.

Question is ... Has any1 untethered jb'd 5.1 yet?
