I leveled up 37-42 in less than n hour using this method
act 2 first quest
when you leave the town to light torches
theres a guy who does a speech and walks to the stairs with you
theres about 11 spawns running down the stairs and a meteor comes and blows em up
instant 10-15 if u kill the big guy as well.
Some runs i got 20k

run to the town again leave game and resume

Farming, as far as I'm concerned, is for gear, not XP. Just play the fucking game to level up. I'm 56 in act II of Hell. Farming to level would be boring as shit.

beat the game in normal? after you kill diablo you'll unlock nightmare.. and so on

Beat normal, you will unlock the next difficulty, rinse and repeat.

Normal -> Nightmare -> Hell -> Inferno.

Beating Normal unlocks Nightmare -> Hell -> Inferno

just found a stormsheild act 3 rakkis crossing underground

Nightmare -> beating normal + lvl 25
hell -> beating nightmare + lvl 50
inferno -> beating hell + lvl 60

Have yet to find a fucking legendary item and I've been playing for over 100 hours lol fuck friend found 6 so far -_-

bet u the first one u finally find will be garbage like the majority of the ones out there

im in the same boat, 70 hours played 0 oranges, not even any REALLY good blues i get complete crap for everything

but ya I was using this method to power lvl last night too,

I got my voodoo from 25 to 47 in 5 hours last night just sitting there like a robot.

im guessing i've played around 60-70hrs, found 5 legendaries.
but my rarest items have been yellows.

You would think using logic that legendaries would have amazing stats given the rarity of the items. Especially given the amount of hours played and the countless smashing of vases and overturning of corpses.

But no.

Is anyone getting bored of the game yet?

For me, I have sort of reached a point where the fun factor is taking a major nose dive. My main char -- a lvl 55 or 56 DH -- is getting stuck because I haven't been able to find any decent gear, and I'm too poor to afford level-appropriate gear on a frequent enough basis from the AH. With crappy gear, I'm too weak to solo in Hell, and even when I'm in party, I die all too frequently from 1-hit kills. So the whole thing just turns into a grind. But as we all know, grinding for gear is no fun in D3 because the drops are so crappy. I love the boss fights in D3, but a good chunk of fun is taken out of it b/c there is simply no reward from it. As a matter of fact, I am pretty sure I am losing money from boss fights b/c of my high gear repair costs.

Exploring with new chars is only gonna be fun for so long.

Blizzard really screwed up on this one.

As many have said before,the rares right now have way better stats to get u through the game. I have found 2 oranges and they not worth mentioning.
I would say that they might downgrade the stats on rares in future patch, much like what they did in d2 in earlier patches.
So enjoy the awesome rare loot drops while it last.
