Have to mention Art Irizawa who is best known as Mr. Fuji Hakayito on the TV show "Super Dave Osbourne".

What's ironic is that Art was actually born in BC back in 1935 but created the accent for the TV show. He died in 2022.

Yes, he was interned. But he did go to college, played music and was a graphic designer too.

Great show was following since before it came out, barely survived 2 seasons then got axed and due to a strong but small following came back from the dead for a season 3 before HBO booted it from Crave. Netflix picked it up and while it had a decent beginning it didn't get enough viewers to go for a 4th season.

For anyone who watched Banshee on Cinemax it's the same show runner. Good H2H combat and some decent Asian action names on the show, Joe Taslim Mark Dacascos (though small role), and Dustin Nguyen for you OGs who was born in the 80s like me. Don't take the plot, acting and such too serious just come for the action and a rare instance of an Asian dominated cast on a western platform.

i rather enjoy it. just mindless kungfu with a vague plot.
