We travelled to Japan as a family for the first time in 2019 for Christmas right before COVID and all fell in love with it. Maybe not my daughter at the time though she was just 7 months old lol. My son who at the time was 5 would have dreams that he was back in Japan, he would talk about it all the time and finally last year we went back last year during Spring. My youngest who was 5 at this point fell in love and it's all she talks about now. Earlier this month I went back again for a father son trip and my daughter has been "saving up" she says because she wants to go back. Having said that, its been all Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka so far and my wife and I would really love to do something else like Hokkaido, Okinawa and stuff but with the age of our kids and their interests I don't think that's going to be viable yet. |
Spoon, that was weak as hell :lol Here's a lesson. Let the girl go to Korea with her friends to buy all the cosmetics and any other bullshit ass skin procedures they wanna get done out there, meanwhile you go with the buds to Colombia. Best trip for trip arrangement I've ever made with the GF :) |
Plus dem korean chicks are pretty conservative. Not at all like the Kpop skanks.. I dated a few in SFU and when i ate dinner at her house, her and her mom would go somewhere else while i eat with her dad first. the fuck? and i couldnt laugh about jebus cuz shes all up in that jew's aura or whatever. |
lol Colombia, probably have a heart attack as soon as he steps off the plane. I swear, as a 2nd-gen Asian Canadian, we have some of the most unadventurous group of travellers around. For the most part outside of N. America we only travel to Hawaii, Mexico (Resorts only), big ticket European destinations, and Asia (Whatever country your parents are from + Japan ONLY). White people are way more open minded even if they do end up in more sticky situations. |
Japan is for sure #1 country in my travel experience. 1. Ultra clean in comparison to most countries 2. Things are extremely organized (satisfies my OCD) 3. Everyone is polite and/or friendly (they're often just being polite because it's engrained into their society lol) Food there is amazing. You have cheap street foods that are delicious and also high end foods that are significantly better with a larger variety and a much better price point than what we get here locally. As mentioned earlier, no tax and no tip required is an added bonus. Accommodations are reasonable for whatever your budget might be. Extremely solo travel friendly if you want to go alone. Even though vast majority of them don't speak much English, you can travel around major cities and travel destinations without much issue at all. Lots of signage is in English and plenty of locals will try their best to help you out if you're in a pinch. When it comes to entertainment, there's a million options and something for everyone. Hell, just spending hours playing crane games is entertaining when you keep winning shit lol. Buying souvenirs there is easy and affordable and much cheaper outside of tourist traps. Overall feeling of safety in Japan is often overlooked. You can drop your wallet and people will chase you down to return it to you. Leaving your electronics to go to the washroom when at a cafe is normal there. Leaving your bike outside unlocked is also common. At no point in time have I ever felt unsafe in Japan. There's so much more I could say about the place and so far I've only been to Tokyo (x2), Osaka and Kawaguchiko. I also want to see Okinawa, Hokkaido and eventually branch out to lesser known, lesser travelled spots in the country. I just need to do more research and learn more Japanese as necessary to navigate. |
I don't know about you guys, but I'm very much looking to get some cheaper skin care products for my face when I head to Japan with the family next month. Mineral based sunscreen and serums are expensive here. On another note, who has done the Grouse Grind lately? I did it for the first time in over 10 years this week before I went to work. It was pretty humbling getting passed by people in their 50s and 60s. I had forgotten how tough the first quarter is if you're not in "Grind shape". |

In my opinion, South American women are the hottest in the world. Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, etc. For the record, I'm Chinese ethnicity. |

Holy shit, that is a sketchy email address sending a very sketchy email. I wonder if it was deliberately to reduce the amount of payout: get most people to ignore it, dismissing it as yet another scam... Quote:

Me, I got what other poster above got ... $25.00, two Burger King whoppers. |
If you have auto-deposit turned on (as you should as it short circuits a lot of EMT scams) then problem solved! |
How on earth do you guys get around carry-on luggage fees in Europe? Like the flight fares are cheap as fuck, but once you tack on luggage fee ain't no cheapo anymore. E.g Flight $33, luggage fee $20. |

Totally forgot the kind of questions they asked, wonder what it is that some get $39, some get $110! And peasants got $25. |

Colombia is HIGHLY dependent on where you go as far as girl is concerned. You'd be quite disappointed if you stayed in Bogota. Medellin would have more nice girls in general as their population is more European decedent-based rather than native. Then you have coastal cities like Cartagena/Barranquilla where the "Colombian hotties" in our North American mind would most likely be found. Big nice round ass is daily sight. |
Proof, from wiki - Sofía Vergara was born on July 10, 1972 to a Catholic family in Barranquilla, Colombia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sof%C3%ADa_Vergara |
Fuckin old ass forum dudes cruising for big booty Latinas on vacation like they’ve got a prayer lol. |

Actually, a bunch of Asian American Passport Bros probably not much older than most of us were murdered in Colombia last year cruising for big booty Latinas. I mean, they were somewhat successful until their demise. You just gotta pay, not pray. :D https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-68022288 |
Or just go to LA or Miami, you dont need to travel that far to see some fine ass latinas... sigh.... if i wasnt married.... |
Colombia is pretty safe, I've never felt worried while down there, no different than many places in LATAM. These guys are stupid and put themselves in situations they shouldn't. |
