Use your benefits or lose it! |
The one that I hear on the radio a lot is the one Ray Ferraro promotes ... Kintec. They have locations almost everywhere. Don't know whether they bill direct, you can call and ask? |
there’s an outbreak affecting dogs in downtown, I believe 4 dogs have passed already |

Long before I met my Chiropractor, I went to Kintec. They were nice but the product was shit. I don't know about now but they used to make you step in a block of foam to get a measurement for your feet. My Chiropractor has an electronic pad that you walk across that provides much better data for making corrections to your feet. I would be hesitant to go back to Kintec if they haven't updated their practices. |

Four dogs are confirmed to have died after an outbreak of canine parvovirus in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside (DTES), the BC SPCA says. The virus is highly contagious and is often deadly in unvaccinated dogs, the group says. “A building manager in the area reached out to the BC SPCA’s Animal Helpline with concerns about a number of sick animals in their building,” said BC SPCA veterinarian Dr. Kyla Townsend. In response, and to stop the spread of the disease, Townsend and other volunteers set up an “emergency clinic”, vaccinating 92 dogs. “As soon as it was confirmed that we were dealing with a possible canine parvovirus outbreak, BC SPCA Vancouver Animal Hospital teams jumped right into planning a free vaccination clinic so vulnerable dogs and puppies could be protected from the virus.” The vaccinations were administered on Thursday in Oppenheimer Park. The BC SPCA is recommending pet owners to monitor their animals for the signs of parvovirus, which include lethargy, loss of appetite, severe, often bloody, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain and bloating, fever or low body temperature. “Anyone whose dog or puppy is showing these symptoms should seek veterinary help right away. Early treatment for parvovirus is critical for recovery,” Townsend said. |

The flat pad can see how high your arches are? |
I had corns under the left and right side of each foot for years like for as long as I can remember. Didn't matter what shoe or shoe size. I guess normal dude behavior I chose just to endure it. It wasn't like terrible, the corns were not nasty or huge but it was always there. Generally, it was painless to walk but if I landed off center and onto the corn it did hurt. Fast forward to 2024 I encountered left glute pain and thought it would just go away because maybe I tweaked it at the gym, it didn't. Days became weeks, weeks became months and finally I went for massages, physio and nothing worked. Ended up at a chiro who used to work for the Canucks and first thing he noticed was it looked like I was flat footed although it may have no relation to my injury (it didn't). I ended up after dealing with the glute issue getting orthotics with him using the foam block method. Man, freaking life changing I don't know why my dumbass never got on this years ago despite always having benefits for it. Unfortunately, no direct billing and getting it approved was a pain in the ass, my provider doesn't even cover them if you're over the age of 18 or something but luckily my wife's plan did cover most of it with a doctors note. Sorry for the long story, I guess what I'm saying is if you have coverage, get this shit done. |
this morning i had to take an uber to work and it was a chevy equinox ev. the regen braking is so strong i got motion sickness sitting in the backseat. never had that before in any other ev, but maybe the driver was also shit and just didnt know how to modulate the gas pedal. i felt sick after just a few mins then had to endure it for the next 15m. :Puke::Puke: |
Should have cancelled the ride and give him zero stars. |
thats what I did to the Persian engineer who decided to make a left on to knight street from 62nd ave during morning rush hour even though I told him the uber guidance is retarded and I don't want to be t boned that morning |

You can drive around high regen jerkiness with modulating the throttle pedal but most people go on off with the throttle so yeah... |
If the guy knew how to drive (and maximize / preserve momentum), having the least amount of regen braking and managing vehicle speed yourself would actually get you the most range. But then the driver would have to know how to drive... |

oh man, remember when knight didnt even have any left turn lanes? i used to live on knight/23 and came home from richmond every day over the knight st bridge... was a nightmare, especially the 49th ave intersection. |
I see drivers trying to turn left onto 63rd Ave from Knight Northbound during rush hour all the time. Pretty sure the drivers are just following the GPS thoughtlessly. The city really should restrict left turns on Knight during Rush hours. |
^ yah, so simple to fix on those side numbered streets from Knight. Put up a sign, no left turns between 7:00-10:00 am or 3:00-7:00 pm. |
Maybe they should just toll everyone who takes Knight Street :troll: |

Imagine if emergency services had to get into an area, and everybody's GPS navigation automatically steered them around it. The majority would follow the instructions, no questions asked. No big deal if a couple of people ignore it. |
I dunno why anyone living in Metro Vancouver would ever believe Google Maps that turning left on 60-something at Knight is a good idea. You honestly don't even need to have a bad previous experience there -- when you are there during the busy hours, you would instantly know you've fxxked up! (I would have turn right and look for an alternative route to loop back down Knight instead of trying to make the impossible left turn.) And yet so many people still do it everyday... FailFish |
