I'm a little bit confused as to how transferring into ubc works from somewhere like langara

say in september-jan semester i do 18 transferable science credits at langara, and january-april semester i do 18 more to satisfy the transferrable credits requirement. I am reading on the ubc website that deadline for fall admissions are January 31st... How am I going to submit a transcript with my gpa if it's not going to be complete until April that year? I seriously hope that if i do 18 credits in winter semester and 18 credits in spring semester that i don't have to wait an entire year to apply again for the 2015 ubc semester...

Hmm maybe you'd submit an interim transcript and then a final transcript when you're done? At least I think that's how it works.

Hmm, could be. But by that logic wouldn't there be problems estimating your final GPA? I mean they either accept you or don't based on your interim wouldn't they? but thank you, that's good news. Hopefully it'll turn out for me

You might want to contact advisors/admins at UBC (or Langara?) to confirm if you're unsure of what to do.

Wouldn't it be like applying from high school? Deadline in january, and then you send them your marks from the second semester and then they accept you afterwards.

i plan on taking about 20 science/maths/elective credits at langara and use my good hs grades to transfer into ubc applied science for fall 2014

(A in maths 12, B in phys 12, B in chem 12)
