Gaining weight is a lot easier with homo milk. I was at 3 full shaker bottles a day before i stopped because of the violent dumps (lactose intolerant, even with the help of lactaid pills).

Are you still growing taller? 30 lbs is a lot. lol

On another note. 225lb bench attempt tonight. 3 sets of 6 at 146lb bodyweight.
I was already looking forward to tonight's chest workout since last week.

For 16, you are a strong mofo, lol, especially at 128lb.

I'd take out the nonsense bicep curls. Heck, I might even take out the tricep extensions.

Biceps seem all the rage and cool at 16, but if you fight through it - it'll prevent you from looking like an Ape/Baffoon.

And Pendlay Rows/Bent over rows are enough to increase bicep size. If you are in any athletic sports right now, I'd fit in power cleans/ hang cleans into your routine. They add size/thickness damn well - and nice explosive power when needed.

As someone else said, I'd stick to 5x5 until you peak and begin to stall out - then switch to 3x5 or the many other variations.

But I was wondering which will I see gains the fastest in terms of 1RM? I've been lifting seriously since October, so not that new, but still quite new.
I've read up SS and 5/3/1, is 5x5 better (or the same?)
Don't neglect that your mind is doing most of this work. Creatine isn't some magical cure as many people think it is. If you fit in the sleep, nutrition, and lift heavy - that's all you need for now.

Slow and steady wins the race. We didn't become like this overnight, it's through a routine and consistency. And don't act like a b!tch, lift heavy.

Hey man, your SS routine is very similar to mine, switch the squat in workout B to a front squat (take the time to learn it with proper form) and you'll really help out your other lifts.

Like subordinate said you can take out the curls (do them if your heart so desires to) or not, it doesn't really matter.

Incorporate close grip bench press/french press or skullcrushers as an accessory for your triceps, which in turn will help with your bench press. I usually do mine on non-bench days.

Besides that, your routine looks good just add 5 lbs to each lift every session and you'll be strong as motherfuarker.

In all honesty there's no significant difference besides what you stated, its just adding more volume. I don't know how you are but 5 working sets is a lot for higher weight, it gets significantly harder. I only do 3 sets because 5 sets would keep me in the gym too long.

Personal preference really.

I'm looking for a progressive program to help me break through my bench and deadlift plateaus
Then do secondary exercises,

1 - stand on a 3 inch platform and do deadlifts, exploding up, while practicing and making sure all muscles that need to be involved, are.

2 - Standing box jumps, increasing in height, or weight (holding 2 dumbbells side by side).

3 - Rack pulls or the opposite of it, halting deadlifts.

4 - Increase Grip and Lat work - Do Kroc Rows.

... You can see where I'm going with this. There are so many secondary exercises to do, while sticking to the primary.

Maybe eat more for more energy lol, at 128, that is cray. How tall are you? That may put things in more perspective.

I'm 5"9' ish, hopefully 5'10" now, haven't measured in awhile. My school had me calipered (BF%) at 5%, but I think I'm more at 8%:
Spoiler!

The problem with my deadlift is that I have trouble getting the weight past my knees for the lockout - I can lift it off the ground, and I can lock it out, but I just can't get it high enough.

At first you will think that the 3 sets isn't enough but as the weight increases it will be progressively harder. You have sick abs lol, mirin. Do you hit them often?

Shit man, youre shredded.
I'm on par with you; deadlifting 245 1x5, squat 245 5x5,, bench 155 5x5, but i am 10lbs heavier than you are, 16 as well haha, on 5x5, but with no width in my shoulders.
Damn man, MY NEW MOTIVATION TO GET SHREDDED WHILE LIFTING BIG.

Race to the end of the year to see who lifts more at the end of the year

My end of year goals are just to reach yours atm haha

Anyways, if I plan for:
Squat @ 135
Bench @ 110
Deadlift @ 205
For 3x5, do I lower the weight even further for 5x5?
Unfortunately, that's not the case..kevin7352 knows how pins i am
not trying hard enough

I'd consider lowering the weight for 5x5. Actually, if you visit http://stronglifts.com/stronglifts-5...ining-program/, you can get the spreadsheet, punch in your current numbers, and itll automatically find your starting weight.
Try not to mess with the numbers, as hard as it may seem.

I hate buying costco chicken thighs and cannot finish it myself... cuz my brother won't eat a lot and he "wanted it". Is there any good places beside getting it from superstore? i don't really trust superstore's meat
