Woot haven't benched heavy for about 3 weeks now due to inadequate sleep from midterms. Maintained my strength (1RM) followed by a good workout.

I might have gotten a bit stronger actually as I did the same weight without creatine.

Happy

if you're talking protein powder, thats roughly 2-3 years worth of protein provided you have 2-3 scoops a day.

365x12 mirin hard brah

good back/deadlift session today. hips are feeling great, little to no pain now after foam rolling daily. they were definitely tight which i'm assuming caused the problem.

weighing in at 163lb now, was 159lb in january. feeling bigger and stronger than ever now.

bumping this for those who might be wondering

My gym has all brand new equipment and all the barbells feel like they sort of have a greasy feeling coating to them that hasnt worn off yet, even when wiped down. Combine that with my sweaty hands, the bar likes to slide out of my hands (not grip issue). And sometimes Im too lazy to bring chalk

Grab a piece of paper towel (my gym has those brown tear off sheets and a spray bottle literally everywhere), get it damp, fold in half and wrap it around the bar where your hands go. Instant grip of peace.

So far it gives the same amount of grip at 400lb deadlift as chalk. I might not even bother with chalk anymore this is so easy.

When I saw another bro doing it I instantly thought wtf phaggot but after I tried I was definitely mirin.
you want the paper towel just damp, not wet. if it is too wet it will just tear apart like wet paper.

On an 8 foot rim yes

But srs, that will probably be my long term goal when I'm done with strength training.

Regular Olympic lifting, and power training - will be fun times in a couple of years

Under 5'7 crew anyone?
