bailed hard on my bike. went to emergency bleeding in like 8 different places unable to move my wrist and shit and sat in a waiting room waiting to get patched up.

I ended up leaving and setting up a triage at home.

fuck hospitals.

Polysporin on everything, have tensure wrap around my wrist. it's sprained, luckily not broken. I crashed going 60, so this could have been much much worse.

So I guess the only thing I'll be able to do is squats and cardio.

University of Calgary.

Quite possibly the most amazing fitness center i've ever seen.

It's also an olympic training center due to the altitude.

They have everything, olympic oval, 3 hockey rinks, climbing wall, aquatic center, 6 squat racks, a glute ham raise, full indoor track, basketball courts 10 benches just for barbells.

all for about 130 a year.

to anyone interested walmart has a single serve Hamilton beach blender on sale for $10, 5 year warranty. I bought one, add approx. cup of frozen berries, cup of milk and scoop of protein and its doggone good.

This is what it looks like when your friend spills it in her brand new car:

Switching routines to 5/3/1. Been lifting 3 years and started with the typical 3-4 day split routine, then 5x5 for one year and Layne Norton for another year.

Going to try 5/3/1 because I want to increase my strength for the big lifts.

Current stats are:

Age 33, 6'0" 185lb. 1RM bench 250lb, Squat 280lb, Deadlift 375lb, OHP 155lb

IMO 5/3/1 is too lil volume/work if you're just purely working out. its great for athletes who need to do more sport specific training

you can still progress on it and put up big #s...but might as well go balls to the walls :P
