Amazing, was at dinner and watched the highlights on the blackberry. Screamed when I saw the game winner, girlfriend got pissed and everyone looked at me funny.
Lin sells tickets. Everywhere he goes it's a sell out.

I'm all for the Lin-wagon right now but to take a step back and take off the Linsanity glasses, look so far he's lined up against:
D-Will - by far the best defender of the group but he is on a CRAP team that has no help defense AND he has to carry the offense load for the entire team, he must be tired.
Devin Harris - Shell of his former self
John Wall - He got owned by Lin even in the Summer leagues so anyone could have seen this coming, plus his defense is atrocious!
Derek Fisher - WAY too old to do anything now ... I don't even know why they still have him around ... only cuz he's Kobe's buddy?
Rubio - All flash and fancy plays, no defense.
Calderon - Never known for defense.
The game before that, although a SMALL sample size because he was still relegated to backup and only played 7 minutes, but he was shutdown by Rondo, 0-3 from the field, 2 points, 1 assist.
I want to see what he can do against the ELITE defenders before truly seeing what he is worth. I want to see him face Rondo again head to head, or Derrick Rose, Chris Paul, Westbrook ... especially interested in seeing how he can adjust his strategy playing against Orlando with super blocker Dwight in the paint at all times. I doubt he will be able to drive like he does against Dwight like he did to the Nets who have Kris freakin' Humphries guarding the rim lol ...
But there was 1 exception to this and I remember it well and for the hoopheads, I gotta say this definitely reminds me of Yuta Tabuse who bounced around on a few NBA teams, and was always solid, and this fckin guy was 170lbs and 5'10 with shoes on! I remember when I first seen it I couldn't believe I was watching an asian guy who wasnt around 7 feet playing in the NBA... he first showed up in Phoenix in the early 2000's, so even then it was still crazy seeing Asian players in the NBA, but to see one of his stature holding his own was crazy
i remember seeing him enter the nba. i was hoping he'd get more play time and go somewhere.
It's going to suck for him when he goes on a bad run of form, way too much hype

I've really lost interest in the NBA since the Jordan, Barkley, Robinson days and can't really stand the league these days but I think its a great underdog story and good for the kid, not sold on him yet, but good luck to him.
Madison Square Garden (MSG) owns the Knicks, as well as the New York Rangers, a minor league hockey team and a WNBA team. The company also owns the eponymous Madison Square Garden arena, some other venues, and other media holdings including television stations.
Today, because of Jeremy Lin, shares hit a new 52-week high of $32.30. With 62.08 shares outstanding, today's move up of $1.15 means the market thinks Jeremy Lin's weekend success is worth $71.4 million.
Whether Lin is actually worth that much or not is a debate that won't be able to be settled. Certainly he has revitalized the team, sold a lot of jerseys, and perhaps made the Knicks much more popular in Asia. There's another piece of the puzzle that adds value to Madison Square Garden. As Mike Ozanian from Forbes points out, Lin's success may finally cause Time Warner (TWC) and Madison Square Gardens to settle a more than month-long dispute that has caused the Knicks and other MSG Network teams off of Time Warner Cable since January 1 because of a rate dispute. The Jeremy Lin-mania may cause Time Warner subscribers to jump ship in order to see the Knicks. Up until this past week, the team's dismal play hasn't given lukewarm Knicks fans a reason to switch, but that all may change. Time Warner would then lose much of its leverage over the dispute.
I wonder how Lin will response to the critisms when the NYK winning streak is over. Seems like the camara doesn't even go to Melo anymore, or is he even attending games?
I want to see him play D-Rose, but that's only if Lin can last until March 12th.
I dunno if anyone noticed but in the " The Official No Need To Start a New Thread, Thread " in the " Local Video About Love " at 1:26 the girl wrote, " Jeremy Lin "
^ pretty sure mgment is smart enough not to do that..
nyk is one of the best places for him to play right now and hes expressed how he loves the team and hes shown that with him playing big minutes, the team is clicking and they're winning games..his stats before in the NBA was before he was given a chance and Lin strives at the PnR, which D'Antoni lives by.
he'll drop back down to maybe 16 PPG, 7 AST per game...
Besides his basketball skill and IQ, what also impresses me is his humble heart, "team first" mentality, and positive attitude during games.
Once he has more experience with defensive coverages and spends more time to work on his long range shooting, and gain more upper body strength, he'll be even better. Lin's gotta bring that average of six turnovers per game lower and improve his shooting in order to bring his game to the next level.
The Knicks are certainly cashing in on the Linsanity. Jeremy is bringing the smile back to the NBA!
