Sonick is a genius. I won't go into detail what's so great about his post. But it's damn good!

Not sold until melo comes back, melo seems to try and always take over games but if him and Lin can work together that's going to be deadly Posted via RS Mobile
There is some pressure on Carmelo to fit in with the current offensive scheme of the Knicks.
J.R. Smith bought into the game plan. J.R. is the type of player who can make poor decisions with shooting, a temperamental guy. He actually passed the ball in the Mavericks game and worked well with Lin.
Ball movement with Lin creating the plays for the guards and forwards to attack the basket, playing in the paint, is what coach D'Antoni emphasizes. Melo cannot play selfish basketball and do it all by himself.
A buddy of mine in New York knows first hand how tough Knicks fans are if you do not play well. If Carmelo messes things up, I think New Yorkers would run him out of town.

aren't you already sold with melo in the lineup earlier this season?
Melo is distributing the ball well so far. He has 5 assists so far and has only taken 7 shots. Melo won't be able to play the way he has earlier this season, the passing and unselfish game that Lin has brought to New York is simply contagious.
That said, the Knicks are losing to the Nets by 16 points right now lulz.
Good game from Lin apart from poor shooting....21 points, 9 assists, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and just 3 turnovers but on 7/18 shooting...It might take some time for melo and the knicks to gel...
Deron torched the Knicks, Fields can't keep up with him, Lin and Smith aren't strong enough. The Knicks badly missed Shumpert, he's their best perimeter defender and has the strength and speed to bother Deron. Nets shot 15/31 from three almost 50% you aren't going to win any games letting the other team shoot that well. Deron had 8 by himself.
