this is a long shot, but i was wondering if anyone here can remember this anime from way back in 1998. it was based on this manga written by Noboru Rokuda:

i watched one episode as a VHS fan sub almost a decade ago, but i forgot about it and now that i found it again online i can't find anything remotely english. i was hoping someone here might know:

I haven't checked out Gundam Thunderbolt yet, but I will

Currently watching

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable

Aggressive Retsuko (you guys should REALLY check this one one, made by Sanrio and only 2 minutes long per episode. You'll wish it's longer. It's great for people who work in an office environment)

cheesyhoney 06-03-2016 07:27 PM

Haifuri is also pretty fun

EndLeSS8 06-09-2016 11:11 AM

Just finished Gundam Thunderbolt

That was very good, brutal and short

8/10

I can't say this enough -- if you enjoy the anime, you need to go read the manga. The story is so much less rushed and thorough. I am not saying the anime is bad, but I enjoy the manga far more.

And I just have to put this out there -- I hate Io's guts.

Adorkami 06-09-2016 04:02 PM

looking forward to this, hopefully it lasts longer than it did last time

.

First version was good until the last ep.
Second remake was kind of a let down.
I dont know what to expect on this iteration.

...Dragon Ball Super right now is LIT AS FUCK...
you can now legally stream it on Crunchyroll as well...

they only have episode 47 onwards(63 aired today), but this is the beginning of the new arc and it is WOW

Those that have been following the series probably knows it already, but Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans season 2 has been on air for a few weeks now. So far, all the episodes are just as frickin awesome as the stuff from season 1. But I do lament how the old cast are all acting much more grown up than before now.

I LOVE Gundam...but I find this series incredibly boring.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable. Really been digging all the series.

6o4__boi 10-24-2016 12:12 PM

I havent watched a gundam series since 00
and i really only liked it because it was the first series in HD

I liked Wing the best, though G was pretty fun too

Season 1 has a lot of story telling and plot development and less mobile suit action, and sometimes those plot developments move a bit too slow for the action crowd. But when the action took place, it was always intense and captivating.

So far, season 2 seems to have improved on that, with more battles and fights, and nearly as much plot development as before. But a viewer would probably get a lot more out of season 2 if he has watched season 1 first.

Been watching Saiki Kusuo no psi nan. hilarious

Obsideon 10-25-2016 08:38 PM

just finished Food Wars Shokugeki no Soma ... the first season was better

donk. 10-27-2016 08:30 PM

Appleseed Alpha.

the ONLY anime i absolutely loved

Traum 10-27-2016 11:23 PM

A few of you mentioned that you like Gundam stuff. If that's the case, you absolutely HAVE TO watch the Gundam Origin episodes (if you haven't done so already):

The trailer here really doesn't do it any justice -- when I watched the 1st episode, the first 3 minutes alone were enough to left me in awe. Everything about it is good -- the animation quality, the story, the characters, the quality of the artwork themselves, etc. And this is the original UC0079 universe -- ie. the real deal. It is not some recycled old crap -- it is state of the art, and easily the best there is across all Gundam universe series.

For the time being, only 3 episodes have been released, with the 4th one coming up some time in mid November. But each episode is ~1 hour long.

DragonChi 11-18-2016 04:32 PM

Hunter x Hunter, episodes up to 100 are on Netflix. I downloaded the rest because I couldn't wait for Netflix to put up the rest.

Also, Naruto Shippuden anime is finally finished! It's on Crunchyroll.

Mistakenly started with this one first, good to know the 1st season was better because I loved the 2nd season.

If you guys are into sports animes, I'm really enjoying Haikyuu (it's a guys volleyball team) and Keijo!!!!!!!! (it's super fanservice-y, but funny as fuck imo). Also watching Yuri! On Ice, but I doubt anyone on here (besides the girls maybe) would enjoy watching it lol.

If you're into random/messed up anime; Kiss Him, Not Me is pretty funny. It's about a girl who's obsessed with BL. Definitely a good no-brainer watch.

Tim Budong 11-20-2016 08:50 AM

OK
DragonBall Super just got super dark and then BAM.. that ending to this trunks arc is like...damn this shit isnt normal

Obsideon 11-22-2016 08:50 PM

LMAO at this new anime, it's so ridiculously stupid that I can't stop watching...
KEIJO!!!!!!!! (yes it has to have all those exclamations)
https://myanimelist.cdn-dena.com/ima.../10/81906.webp
Point of the story is... I have no clue, it's a new competition sport where girls with huge tits try to knock each other off a platform floating in a pool. The kicker is they can only use their boobs and butts to attack. :fulloffuck::lawl:

Teriyaki 11-22-2016 09:47 PM

Has MOB Psycho 100 been brought up yet. I really enjoyed this one, way more than I thought I would. Been watching a lot of reviewers and analysis on it as well afterwards since I thought it was so unique... and alot of others seem to share that same sentiment.
