Anime usually goes into hiatus or fillers once it catches up to the manga.
Gintama and Beelzebub caught up this season as well and are going on break.
At least it's better than the crappy year long fillers Naruto and Bleach used to do back then.

Im currently watching Naruto Shippuden..
They are at the point where the 4th Great Ninja War is about to begin.. sooo pumped... awesome series..

I stopped watching bleach after ep 3XX... kinda got bored of it...

There was a translation error and people thought for a while it was cancelled forever. It's only temporary, because Bleach is going to another animation company and I think they might just wait until the manga gets far enough ahead.

Anyone else waiting for the next season of Initial D? The manga's already up to 750 chapters or so, and there's been like 10 battles since the end of Fourth Stage.

Just started watching Sekirei after seeing it on Funimation's page during an Initial D binge. Good for anyone who likes a mix of harem/comedy/romance/action.

Danshi Kokosei no Nichijou, aka Nichibros. It's a fun series.

I'm also currently watching Gintama (it's a long-ass shonen comedy) and Persona 4.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. So. Good.

Another good one: Azumanga Daioh

Looking for new anime for my wife. She is caught up on One Piece and Fairy Tail, which she loved.

Any other recommendations that seem to be similar? Basically, she enjoys the series that have a group of friends who go on adventures together. Another favourite was Inuyasha

Despite the redundant title and crappy ratings in Japan, the anime is a good old school adventurous story involving wizards and stuff.

Tenchi muyo! more about a group of alien girlfriends and a human guy who they all want and hang out together and battle aliens invaders

Amaenaideyo pretty much the same idea as tenchi muyo but they're priests/priestesses fighting spirits

Fushigi Yuugi, classic, girl gets sent back in time makes a buncha friends falls in love they go on a traveling adventure etc etc love etc magic etc etc
