The new dragon ball is pretty good and attack of titains is decent as well.

Season 1 or 2?

S1 was very good. S2, as a whole, is complete garbage, even though numerous episodes were emotionally involving. But damn... I've never been so pissed off about an anime series getting ruined by the script writer.

I found S1 to be the setup of S2.

Season 2 is where it all went down. It was kind of anticlimatic in terms of plot, but damn, it was ruthless. Like Game of Thrones ruthless.

I wouldn't say S1 was intended to be the setup for S2, because at the time when S1 was aired, Bandai really didn't know whether there'd be enough traction to build on the series to make a second season... It wasn't until when they saw the strong plasmo sales that they decided to press on with a 2nd season.

But now they've created a bunch of very pissed off IBO fans. Would be quite questionable whether we'd ever see a Season 3...

DragonChi 10-21-2017 12:57 PM

Yeah, they didn't leave much for a season three.

For sure at the end of Season 1 thought it would continue, there was still story left to tell.

I can see why fan might of been pissed. It's like they completely abandoned the main cast and went straight to a Gjhallahorn story.
