RS Meet to go to Richmond Subaru with belaud to help him out:
1. RCubed
2. Matsuda
3. Bigbaddie
4. Taxmonkey
5. z3german

Bull shit what the GM said to you, and the sales saying that is absurd! My father owns a cosmetic repair shop in singapore and even the starting positions for the cosmetic work (washing, polish, etc) know what the acceptable standards are for even a USED car. I wish people cared more here, standards there are immaculate for cars!

(y) for contacting Linda Steel, would love to watch that.

I'd LOVE to head down in a show of support. This is fucking bullshit, and I was fuming after reading the OP's breakdown after each meeting with the dealer. How about we have a RS Byrne Road meet at Richmond Subaru instead ?

When I bought my Mazda3 at Freeway Mazda, a sales person came out to greet me and my family. I was straight up about what I wanted: a 2011 hatch. They had one, and the deal they gave us was so good that we signed the papers the same day. They were even nice enough to let me use their storage lot so I could sell my old Corolla, which had zero trade-in value. They also cared enough to re-detail my car a few days after delivery since I opted to take the car the night I bought it, and their staff did a good job.

Thanks for the offer guys, but I should wait to see if Warren is willing to compensate for an actual detail job, if he declines, lets march in there like the 300 spartans.

Now how do I contact Lynda Steele...

Lool when i made a visit down to Richmond Acura to check out a RDX the salesman didnt give two shits bout us. We spent like 20 mins looking around the lots, then went inside the dealership to look at the 2012, after another 10 mins of just walking around the car and sitting inside he finally comes over and greets us.

Maybe it is all Richmond dealership's standard.

OP,

Just curious...and if you dont mind me ask...are you in your late teens / early 20s?

The way [most] Richmond dealerships treat their customers are horrible already. Add in the fact
you're under 30, or at least look/height of a teenager....they tend to you treat even 5X shittier.

no offence, but that is lowering yourself to their standards.

A peaceful protest by a number of RS members coming over there on the weekend (their busiest time)...
... and explaining to every potential customer why they should NOT buy at this dealer ...
.. and giving directions to other dealers should do the trick quite nicely.

Add to that this web publicity and I bet the opportunity cost to them will start to pile up.

Does anyone know if the dealership is owned privately or corporately? I'd say it is time to direct the owner to this thread!

if you think about the fact that olympic motors actually hired those no good salesmen and managers probably means they dont give a shit about us consumers but its still worth a shot.

Use Google
Barry Horn | LinkedIn

Then ask subaru canada folks, they may direct you to someone too.

Start sending emails everywhere you can find until you find the right person.
Richmond Subaru | New Subaru dealership in RICHMOND, BC V6X 2B8 send an email to every staff member asking to find the ULTIMATE boss, someone who cares. The more emails you send, the more respect you will command and hopefully they will start treating you well!

If I were you, I'd be on a mission (as a matter of principle) to get them to do the right thing.

What a crock of shit. Every owner cares about one thing - profit! They may not be aware how their managers treat customers and this is a chance to inform them.

Instead of "marching in there, like a an army of 300 spartans", why not a peaceful protest kind of deal?

You protest out on the public street, off their property, and try and catch people headed into the dealership, so they are aware of the horrible customer service they're about to recieve.

As an absolute LAST resort... perhaps ICBC is an option? Maybe you can claim it, so you can have it fixed properly? (hopefully without it effecting your discount) I'm just thinkin' out loud here...

Yea.....that will go smoothly for all of 8 seconds until they call the RCMP and they escort you not only off the lot, but out of the entire Richmond auto mall complex.

Maybe it is all Richmond dealership's standard.
depends on how the salesman reads you.

some customers are super fussy about how salesmen approaches people due to the common idea of salesmen being snakes. i was not there so i dont know how it really was but maybe he wanted to give you room to check out stuff on your own?

The dealership is not in the automall.
I got my car from Sig. Mazda in richmond and my experience was great lol, but I was helped by a really friendly knowledgeable white guy who understood my circumstance.

However, even though I don't know any of you I'm down to come because I have a cousin that was screwed by them in the past, and I was with him.
