Lightflow is popular for LED control, but it KILLED my battery (my coworker encountered the same thing with his Bell phone)

I've installed onavo to keep count of my data since I only have 1gb data. Every day I seem to use ~15-20mb of data on "platform apps" (with an android logo on it). What is this exactly?...is it syncing of gmail or something?
My battery life has almost doubled since I've switched to a new Jelly Bean ROM. So pleased with the results. I used to get about 7hours use before too...Now I'm rocking at least 14-16 hrs a day.

Yea, i notice this too before, but it was something to do with the rom. If you're using a custom rom, that could be the culprit.
Please look into the threads to make sure it's compatible with your phone. I'm on T-Mobile and this one worked for me. Make sure it's compatible with Rogers/AT&T if that's what you're on.
^v7 gave me more blue screen flickering sick rom otherwise
I'm still on v6 and I have blue flickering but it only happens maybe once a week. I thought v7 was supposed to eliminate that problem all together...
What are you using now?
I LOVE LOVE LOVE GoogleNOW. It's absolutely amazing! It's already figured out what sports I watch and what teams I like and sends me cards with updates automatically.
