honestly, if it was a real problem , the seller would've returned it and gotten a new unit. (unless he bought international version from somewhere else)
There must be something wrong with it.

Do you have to pay extra to get LTE from fido? Any idea how much extra it costs? Is there a way to get it for free?

so i just pay for the new sim card? i wont get charged extra every month for 4G/LTE? cause right now im using 3G

Yes you can just pop a regular (micro sim) and I didn't get charged to switch to an LTE sim.
I'm running stock rom but I've heard AOKP and CM10 is pretty good. Go to XDA for guides and shit.

you have to cut up a regular sized sim to microsim size to get lte ... no extra charge
you will end up using a lot more data. i used to use about 150mb on my berry and I'm at 2gb on my s3 this month lol

i gave up on that cheap s3
ended up getting another one anyways
and yea i need to figure out this LTE sim shit.
i do have a microsim but i think i need a specific LTE microsim.
fido started having LTE in september i believe.
i just need to figure out what rom i want to use and what to install/delete.
i been a IOS/BBM fanboy for the longest time so first time switching over to android.
whats a good case/cover and place to get screen protectors for the s3? online or local.
i dont even want to use my S3xy outdoors until i get a proper case for it lol

^I totally missed a page of posts and thought what you had asked was recent....but good to know that you got a working one...
I just got an LTE Fido sim myself....They did not have any micro in stock so i got regular and cut it down. You do have to get the LTE sim
you can order online and they will ship to you....I instead just picked mine up as I could not wait
I also had to change the APN....as it was only giving me 3g before.... so make sure you add the LTE apn which is LTEMOBILE.APN

actually it was preety recently like 2 days ago lol
with my current microsim i cant even get my 3G internet to work. just phonecalls and text.
how much was the LTE simcard and did you have a special simcard cutting device or used another method to cut it?
so there is LTE microsims for fido though right? just gotta find a store that has one for sale or should i just get a regular LTE sim and cut it myself

in your access point names do you have Fido Internet?

any idea what the difference between a Fido LTE Nano SIM Card and a
Fido LTE Micro SIM Card is?
i presume the nano is for the iphone5 but thats the first time i ever heard or seen of a "nano sim card" SIM Cards | Shop | Fido
fido needs to have a LTE Micro SIM Card Dual Format
also does anyone know if a LTE sim card will work on a NON-LTE phone? like phone/text/data

Only Apple uses a nano sim so you wouldn't wanna get that.
You can use an LTE sim on a non LTE device without issues. You won't be magically getting LTE though  Posted via RS Mobile | |

If you want to try other keyboards the new Swype is my go-to. I have swiftkey But I'm too lazy to type everything out with two hands lol.
The catch is you need to sign up for a beta account on their website. Then you have to navigate to the Swype website on your phone to download the apk (i.e. the program). Once you get the installer, everything else is self explanatory.
