EDIT: My money comment was not on BIC_BAWS, I've been trying to chase down an idle problem on my S2000 and what I thought was the issue was not the issue after all...
Oh.

Loaded a bunch of mulch into the trunk this weekend. If I find a truck with a cap/topper, is it safe to fill up the bed to the top like this?
If you have to overload anything, do an F-150.
Aluminum body means payload is generally higher than the rest.
My 5.0 has heavy duty payload package, ~3300lb payload.
Do not overload RAM and Tundra with their coil spring rear.
2000# is 2000# on these.
Tacoma is a 1 way street to life insurance payout - their frames already snap with a couple years of rust or if you looked at them kinda funny. 1200# payload is a joke lol, 5 adults and a suitcase each overloads it.
yes, thats a great idea, ill just go buy a 80-90k truck for the occasional 1 day out of 365 that i need to haul shit while leaving the truck bed empty for the other 364. Stupid si fat long 屎窟窿

Replace 4 fuel injectors, car runs good. Misfire is gone.
Bank 5 must have been partially clogged, or mechanically failing. They all ohmed out the same.
Had to replace the high pressure fuel lines, new ones straight up gushed all over the engine, thanks to being faulty from factory. Ended up installing old ones, no more gush.
Photo attached, this is what the new line looked like. (Not centered)
I was worried i had a failed spring/lifter, does not seem to be the case. All 8 working well on bank 1.
I did find one of the springs, the color does not match the rest. maybe it snapped before my life time.
Anyways, took the car out, runs good, pulls good.
those of you who understand long term fuel trim:
The car now shows a negative 8% fuel trim on bank 1.
What are your thoughts behind this?
-I dont have data as to how the fuel trims ran before i had misfires.
-Im thinking the new injector orifices are slightly larger, causing it to feed more fuel. Hence it operating at -8%. (Bank 2 is always about 6-8% higher than bank 1. Usually around 0%)
Next step is to replace the right bank, with the same fuel injector part#, and see if it balances out. Or do i just leave it as is?

Tried the underscore method, battery reset, no change.
Tried the chris brown method
Spoiler!

, no change.
About 200kms for the above.
Car drives fine, maybe il ask on the C7 forums if anyone has data from new. Then again, those geezers use their cars to get groceries and discuss how they are "1 of 1" circlejerks
Will probably order 4 more injectors and change the right bank, as preventative measure + to find out if that sorts it. Il report back later on.
Also: after i fixed the cyl 5 misfire, my car had a "service battery" light come up. Checked all connections at battery, looked good. Burned 240$ on a battery, same issue. My blind ass missed the black ground wire, that ripped off the ground terminal, and was blending in with the rest of the area
I tell myself the existing battery was original, and maybe it was just meant to be.

I think it’s fine as long as it doesn’t exceed the trucks payload.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm not planning to get a truck, but my neighbor offered his truck to me and got me wondering how big of an improvement having a truck for this task would be.
Hobz is right that it's not worth getting a whole other vehicle for the 10-20 days in the year when having a truck bed for yardwork is handy (weight won't ever reach anywhere near payload). Plus, I don't want my Guangdong aunties asking me to help them move their hoarded goods.

Benefit of a truck as well is getting your bed loaded at a place like landscape depot etc. the material is like 1/4 of the cost of buying bags.

When I got my dirt from Southwest Gardens they only charged me $80 for delivery - I ordered 3 yards and I got more like 4 (judging by how many trips I made to move it). I think at 6-9 yards they were going to charge me $145 for delivery b/c they needed a larger truck for it. Either ways, that's pretty cheap and beats even renting a truck to get the dirt.
I think the original guys are still at g5, not sure how these places stay in business though, I rarely see modded cars after the whole vi thing kids these days can't even drive

Yeah I'm fortunate that my local dirt place is only 3km and a super easy drive from my house. Mulch is relatively light and I do 2 yards at a time in the F150.
I find it much more manageable to do pickup truck loads in small chunks like that then it would be to order up a dump truck delivery and then have a giant mound occupying my front lawn or driveway until it's used up.
