I dont even..the effort wasn't always there
then again..this is canucks hockey

spideyv2 02-26-2013 09:22 PM

Honestly, if there's no cup this season, I'd love to see Ruff replace AV.

Tim Budong 02-26-2013 09:41 PM

from Danny
Daniel Sedin on 1040 post-game show: 'diving call was embarassing. I've never been a diver. I would have had a breakaway."

Mike Oxbig 02-26-2013 09:44 PM

Thanks to Kesler we are known as a team that dives

I don't understand how you can play in the NHL and not remember basics lol, he was totally caught being mesmerized by the puck

Verdasco 02-27-2013 12:31 AM

absolutely amazing by datsyuk.... amazing!!! will be a while before we see another one of him again :( when he retires

Tim Budong 02-27-2013 05:47 AM

Its those little moves and that vision that is under-appreciated in the league.
Datsyuk isn't all about flashy dekes

I feel like something needs to change - I think AV needs to go.

Last year LA made a coaching change and won the cup. This year Anaheim, Montreal, and even Toronto are playing much better without any giant personnel changes.

Either that or make a giant trade. The Sedins look like the Sedins but everyone else looks bad - The whole team just looks tired.

They are 10-5-4 and 3rd in the conference though. So I dunno... maybe I'm just overreacting after 2 bad losses.

No, you are not overreacting because you have seen the Nucks dominate teams and currently they look tired, bored and can't seem to leave their zone properly. I dunno what it's gonna take for them to wake up. Sucks to see them win a few and them lose a few. Hopefully they heat up come playoff time.

The Canucks just finished a grueling road trip, with 3 or 4 red eye flights in the process. Nashville back down to Dallas, then back north to Detroit.

You are over reacting over 2 bad losses. Yes, the officiating has been FUCKING HORRIBLE but that is only ONE of the factors that is contributing to this record.

*EDIT*
Heres a faceplant to the concrete steps at MSG

Kes wearing an air cast on right foot? What's an air cast?

Elliotte Friedman ‏@FriedgeHNIC
RT @SteveEwen Ryan Kesler just walked down the hall at Rogers wearing an air cast on his right foot. Practice at 11am PT.

Uhh, what are you talking about? If you follow Mackenzie on twitter, he clearly states it's to make room for Pinnizotto NOT Ebbett

Only canucks fans would call for trading the entire team and firing the coach after 2 back to back losses

Uh...no one said trade the entire team.

2-5 record in the last 7 games.

Leading Stars game 3-1, brb lets hold onto the 2 goal lead #AVLogic

Losing 5-3 going into the 3rd, lets keep Lu in the 3rd. Lose 8-3 #AVLogic

Goals continuing to get scored on us, might as well continue chewing my gum #AVLogic

I don't know how anyone can logically defend the guy, and come up with some kind of reasonable and logical defense on why he should stay.

- NEVER gets this team prepared and motivated to play
- NEVER makes correct line-up changes
- NEVER changes up the strategies even though everyone knows what we are going to do

Not a playoff coach, and right now not even looking like a regular season coach, it is so painful to be a fan of this team right now, because we have been handed a golden opportunity for a much needed coaching upgrade with Ruff being available, and we continue to sit on it and just bide our time while we lose games.

CLEARLY a change is needed, anyone who doesn't see this is simple delusional. AV has to go, aswell as Rick "Drop pass" Bowness. Look at what Pittsburgh and LA did with coaching changes, a new voice is needed, fire AV and hire Ruff. If we really want a decent shot at the cup that is.
