Can you post a sample picture or video? Have you try to contact your seller?

asr 09-19-2012 07:17 PM

Official Annoucement from Blackvue:
Difference between DR400G-HD II and DR400G-HD is PCB board design.
Blackvue redesigned PCB board which can be way more stable against overheat.

Your lens (and your camera) may be slightly tilted with respect to the plane of the sensor.

If that's not the case, then wide angle lenses always distort at the extreme wides, and maybe the curvature of your glass makes it more noticeable. Is your front window heavily curved?

asr 09-19-2012 07:23 PM

Ghostrider, Fisheye lens is normal like that way because it is wide angel.
If you use a DSLR with a fisheye lens, the focus would be same. The only focusing point is close to the middle of lens.
BTW, did you get a new car?

Gh0stRider 09-19-2012 07:25 PM

maybe i haven't noticed it before.

but when i look at other peoples videos, it seems to be all in focus???

inv4zn 09-19-2012 07:35 PM

Picture of my screen. Tried to look for something with writing in outer edge.

wobuffet 09-19-2012 09:31 PM

just wanna thank will again for the dr400g, power magic pro, and the super clean install!
busted my neighbor backing up in my car today while she was trying to parallel park.
thank blackvue for having the zoom function in the video playback program! if it wasn't for that, wouldn't have been able to tell whether she hit me or not!

asr 09-19-2012 10:55 PM

^Oh shit, that sucks man. Glad Blackvue saved you. BTW, any picture or video to share?

FerrariEnzo 09-20-2012 10:25 AM

does MircoSDHC cards work with the Blackvue or only the non HC cards?

inv4zn 09-20-2012 11:12 AM

HC works fine.

Make sure you go for a Class 10, and that the read/write speeds are actually what they're advertised as. Cheaper cards will not reach specification speeds, and will be more prone to failure.

i'd love to, but it won't show unless it is played through the blackvue video playback software. i had to zoom in past 100% and drag it to a spot on the video where it showed my car and the curb and then you'd be able to see my car move back by observing the curb. moved only a TINY bit.

before i knew about the zoom feature, i was almost choked that it didn't record anything of value to me.
then found out about the zoom and drag feature :fullofwin:

ASR, Thanks for the install today!

Had a little of a bump in the start but after that, everything went smoothly. ASR is very knowledgeable about the product and wiring. Would high recommend him!

Now, who did I see while I was leaving? Blue STI around 4:30...
