The video logo in Blackplayer supposed be E which means event mode. Silver Pontiac and ICBC will get color match from your mirror. Do not wash your car until ICBC approved. Good luck

hey Will..

any idea if the TREO decal for the portmann bridge tolls (to be on windshield in front of rearview mirror) will interfere with the cameras view of the road?

https://www.treo.ca/vehicle-decals/h...tall-my-decal/

mk1freak 11-29-2012 08:55 AM

just apply the treo decal higher on the windshield and it shouldn't be a problem.

inv4zn 11-29-2012 11:00 AM

I put my decal on the top corner of passenger side windshield

asr 11-29-2012 04:13 PM

Or you can put the sticker on the bottom of your front windshield

MTV Cribs 11-29-2012 05:26 PM

Or the back window and if you have a glass sunroof then put it there. If you put it there just remember to close your sunroof when you drive pass if you have one of those sunroof the slides under the roof.

holy shit, makes me even more paranoid parking on the streets..

Notice: Jump or boost start can cause damage to your power magic even you turning off the power magic.
Take yellow and red wires off from the fuses, then do the jump start

When do you anticipate the DR500GW to be available? Pretty awesome that it has wifi capabilities!

Sky_High 12-16-2012 08:02 PM

Sounds tempting....but I'll probably wait for the version 2 of DR500GW. Pretty sure there will be lots of things for them to work out first.

But ASR, can you PM me what's the pre-order price? Like to get a rough idea first...

^Mentioned on the post above, and also pm'd you.

Sample video of DR500 WIFI

Also I have a new model coming in if someone worries about break in issue. It is a very stealthy camera.
After installation, it even can't tell where it is installed.
Good price and solid quality.

I will post sample videos when I got it. It is slim as Iphone 4

From the picture at the bottom, can you really tell where the camera is?
The whole interior looks pretty clean and nothing on the windshield
http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8351/8...8da90b67_z.jpg

Camera specs:
5 mega pixle lens 140 adjustable (vertical/horizontal) wide angle lens (same as Blackvue dr400/400 II/380 hd angle)
2.7 inch led screen (on/off)
720p/1080p
30fps
auto write off/loop function
G-sensor
motion-sensor
can upgrade to 32gb tf card
voice on/off
12 languages

MindBomber 12-17-2012 02:07 AM

The camera is built into the rear view mirror itself.

asr 12-17-2012 02:31 AM

It is pretty stealthy and can reduce break in issue. Not obvious as the others.
For the customers who worry about break in issue, you can get the rear view mirror built in camera.
Camera is inosculated with rear view mirror, and the mirror is slim as IPHONE 4.

DJ Milk 12-17-2012 02:49 AM

I've looked into getting one of these mirror ones but it's only good if you are the only driver of the car. If anyone else drive the cars they will probably adjust the mirror and then the lens won't be adjusted accordingly.
