Even though she probably won't go online to see this, I hope she learns her lesson to not be such a poor sport next time.

She brought it on herself.

damn never seen an Olympic Handball game that is intense

StylinRed 08-09-2012 05:47 AM

womens Soccer

France keeps putting on the heat but they can't get a good shot and when they do the CAD defense is there to deal with it if it wasn't for the D CAD would be losing.. CAD keeper doesn't seem so hot at all this game

0-0 for most the game but all due to CAD D

AND CAD SCORES IN STOPITCH

zx7rrrr 08-09-2012 05:53 AM

I actually think this article makes a few good points.
After watching quite a few controversies at this years Olympics, it really gets you thinking. Who's to REALLY decide who the winner is at the judging events?
Just one example is: Cheng Yibing was totally screwed out of his Gold on the Still Rings, he totally dominated his routine yet the Brazilian guy shocked the world and posted an even higher score with such a simple routine?... I know I'm obviously not an expert but some of the scores for these events really make me go :fulloffuck: ...

well the same can be said for sports like Soccer then. ie. the questionable call that lead to USA's tying goal against Canada.

Sir_Loin 08-09-2012 01:34 PM

Handball on Monday, USA gets penalty shot. More obvious handball today USA gets away with it Japan gets no penalty shot.

Tim Budong 08-09-2012 02:45 PM

officiating is like that
look at the NHL...

yeah..... like I posted earlier...
Maybe the olympics should just only keep the racing events like Track and Field and Swimming ones.

Where the only officiating involved is false starts...

Sad that the games are nearing the end, have to say I really enjoyed these games way more than the 2008 games.

belaud 08-09-2012 10:11 PM

I loved the 2008 games Dean!

Congrats to Brazil moving to the Gold women's volleyball, as well as Canada for silver in womens wrestling :D

I don't think any team has ever won bronze in the world cup before.
