For those that aren't insured year round, when do you usually put plates on your bike? I took a year off from riding and itching to insure mine again. (2003 Honda CBR F4i).

That's actually very, very slick.

I wasn't at first a fan of the 2013+ faring kit for the CBR600RR. I much preferred the 2007 - 2012 variations. I'm actually surprised that the underlying architecture between the two generations is similar enough that they can "share clothing."

I have to say the 2013+ design is growing on me.

I swapped the fairing kit from the 2009 - 2012 Daytona 675 onto a 2006 - 2008 generation. Naturally, it required a pretty exhaustive list of parts, including headlights, etc., but the good news for me was that I was able to retain the tank and and they retained the colour of my bike.

Buddy moved down from Alberta and since it was so nice out, we went riding today. If you guys see a black r3 and a white/blue gsxr1000 with Alberta plates, usually around Richmond / Vancouver, say hi

Swapped to stiffer clutch springs yesterday. Fucken snapped one of the bolts in the pressure plate.. Gotta order a new on now.. FML.. Then I stripped an allen bolt for one of my brake rotors.. Yesterday just wasnt my day for working on the grom..

Sweet Bimmer! I've also been riding when conditions were favourable, like this morning. Well above freezing in Kelowna and roads were wet but clear of any of the slippery stuff and so I scooted to work, my goodness that was good for the soul. Drivers around me were giving me lots of room and respect too which was a bonus.

The only thing that remotely worried me was rounding that U-bend heading towards the W.R. Bennett Bridge into Kelowna. I'd really like to get a second set of rims to mount Heidenau four-season tires on for any October to April riding. Dragon-88's buddy has it on his Grom and likes them.

Yikes! Hope the local places have what you need. I stripped an allen bolt removing my CVT cover too last week. I wish they used 5 mm bolts instead.

I hate allen bolts with a passion, i've probably stripped 1 of every 5 times I need to work on one.. Absolutely ridiculous. Got my buddy at Honda Centre looking into the part for me already, but they arent open till tomorrow. Shouldn't be hard to get. Just pissed that I tried to do everything by the book. So I got the torque wrench to torque the bolts and then bam Over torqued.. Learnt my lesson there. Plus it was only 9FTlbs, so I shouldve just done it by hand.
