So anyone know of any Ninja 300s for sale at a reasonable price? In the market for one but there isn't shit available this late into the season :(

Geist 05-22-2016 04:54 PM

Burnaby Kawasaki, 4g new, non abs

Think it comes to 5150 incld tax pdi freight etc. Friend got one last month

bananana 05-23-2016 04:50 PM

Looked at two bikes on CL. One was dropped twice (damage on both sides). The second bike is a freaking non-titled ICBC salvage rebuild that is advertised as in perfect condition.

Don't really want a new one. Geist, you're a pretty good rider -- are you ready for an upgrade or what?! I'd love to buy your white one :nyan:

Geist 05-23-2016 04:52 PM

I don't think you've really seen me ride... but I do like the 300, if I upgrade I'll probably go for ann R6 or latest gen 636/ZX-6R

Where's a good location to buy gear? I've just picked up my license and will be buying gear for the first time. Located in Port Moody but willing to travel for good service!

Inb4 Burnaby Kawasaki

Geist 05-31-2016 08:35 PM

Bayside... maybe you'll get beat up by cops, then have taxpayers buy your gear when you receive your out of court settlement.

evlee 05-31-2016 08:49 PM

let me join your gang!

I like the crew at Burnaby Kawasaki. They have always been good to me for pricing.

Was at Pitt Meadows last week for the first time.. and i'll tell ya, that was a lot of fun! Will be back soon. Met a few guys not sure if theyre on here though. Lots of friendly people and the safety riders there gave me a ton of tips for improvement.

Thanks !NR for the tent and !e.lo_ for the moral support :lol

Very cool!

Question: How hard was it to learn the cone course? I'd love to join a Pitt Meadows trackday on my SC but I have a serious mental deficiency when it comes to sense of direction. I did fine at Barber Motorsports park with CSS as following along a racetrack is obvious but I'm worried that with a completely flat track and only cones to guide I'd get lost pretty easily.

I had the same thoughts when I signed up for Pitt Meadows but it's not that bad. After the first two runs (if you do a full day you'll get about six runs in--20 mins each) I was more than comfortable with the layout. Worse comes to worst, you cut a corner or two but big deal -- they're just cones.

I saw about five people bail - most of which happened closer to the end of the day. They did mention people usually get too confident with the course as the day goes on :lol

WTF, who rides with anything let alone that down their pants? LOL'd HARD.

dn53 06-09-2016 07:58 PM

^ i read on fb somewhere the bike was stolen and this was the thief :lol

bobbinka 06-09-2016 08:31 PM

also no keys in the ignition

underscore 06-09-2016 10:30 PM

^ good eye, apparently the hammer type thing is used to bust the steering lock off a bike. Between that and the lack of a key it's pretty safe to say it was stolen.
