Some guy in Castlegar got a ticket from Impark in Vancouver for a 2 year old license plate, referenced the video from earlier this year at Alexandria road.

I got a ticket from them when eating in Vancouver. Ticket said I walked off the lot. However, I went back in and talked to the waitress and she printed off a receipt for me that said exactly what time I had my order taken and what time I asked for the bill. The time the Diamond ticket had was right near the time before I left. I emailed them and they cancelled the ticket. Guess I was one of the lucky ones.

Only thing they can legally do, if they see your plate in one of their lots, is tow your car. Change your plate, and you're golden.

I used to work for them for 3 months a year back when I couldn't find a real job. They're expectation in Richmond at Ackroyd plaza was 20 tickets for an 8 hour shift. I also did Parker place, and a few other small area's. Also watch out for the Wendy's at Broadway and Cambie, and the toys r us on Broadway as well. Those were the hotspots I had way back when. But don't ever pay it, because the worst they can do is send collections after you and that's the end of it. Just change your plates if you're that worried.

He doesn't have to change his plates, his dad already paid the extortion fee.

It wasn't just for him, I put that out just for general info in case anyone uses those parking lots as well or gets another ticket from them and wonders how it works.

Just a heads up for people who goes to sushi garden and staples on lougheed, diamond parking is now finding new ways to ticket people.

Before at the parking lot in the front on staples and sushi garden they would wait and see if you park at staples and go to sushi garden then ticket you for parking at the wrong spot.

But now that people are parking upstairs, they are marking people's tires as soon as they leave the car and as soon as the 2 hr limit is up they ticket people.

My friends and I went to sushi garden parked upstairs and had dinner, (and you guys know that sometimes you have to wait at sushi garden) got back and car was ticketed. check the ticket we were over the 2 hr limit by 5 mins. We checked when the car was marked and it was right after the left the car, and we can see the parking ticket guy sitting in his corolla waiting for people to leave and mark their tire right the way. Which is BS, this diamond parking company has some very sketchy business ethics, if we can even call it a business at all.

Got a ticket for not displaying parking sticker at Steve Nash Kitsilano.... But wait, the sticker has been on there for the last six months! :Facepalm:

Wife got a DPS ticket at toysRus broadway....i flat out ignored it. got a reminder and some 'legal' b.s. letter...been over 2 months now and nothing, not even a phone call yet.

IGNORE THEIR TICKETS BUT DO NOT PARK AGAIN AT THE SAME LOT.
