What's the going rate for that? Asking for a friend.

Someone on RS should buy that particular house in Chilliwack!

bcrdukes 07-22-2023 05:23 PM

With the amount of content he's publishing, I would expect he's getting some decent revenue or at least money on the side.

He had to pay you for it? How ugly is his wife?

I went to check out a 2 bdrm at amazing brentwood, unit is south facing like 45 floor up. With the windows open it was warm, realtor said none of the units in those 3 towers have air con. I guess AC wasn't a big deal when these units were pre sold.

Did they really need to park a GT3 RS, a R8 and a Taycan in the driveway for the photoshoot?

Considering how old and boring it looks inside and out. Yes. It’ll help attract some views. 4.2 mill for this. God damn…

EvoFire 07-23-2023 09:01 AM

^I'm boring, but other than the generic and old looking cabinets, and the basement suite need to be completely redone, I like it. That area in Burnaby is sought after, only negative with the location is it's not directly on Buckingham.

JDMDreams 07-23-2023 09:40 AM

The 23 assessment is only $3.8 and their AI assessment is only $3.66 lol maybe if they include all the cars :troll::troll::joy:

GIZZ 07-23-2023 09:41 AM

It's nice, but no view. I wonder why they filled in and landscaped over the in ground pool?

Qmx323 07-23-2023 10:08 AM

Won't ever afford a place like that but god damn that metal fence in the backyard being crooked bugs me

I know, I know, thats like dumping someone because her elbows are too pointy...

GS8 07-23-2023 10:49 AM

For $4.2, I could just be a feudal lord in Regina :joy:

JDMDreams 07-23-2023 10:59 AM

What much can you make from Regina, from what I've heard they aren't the wealthiest of folks to rent to.

underscore 07-23-2023 11:50 AM

The lighting from all the windows in the kitchen is pretty awesome. The gaps in the fireplace stone work around the stairs bugs me more than it should. And for some reason that crib in the middle of the room in front of the french doors gives me horror movie vibes lol.

PeanutButter 07-23-2023 12:32 PM

ughhhhhhhh that driveway.

Love it!

Kind of impressed at what they've managed to squeeze into the laneway home on this one (2BR/2BA): https://www.zealty.ca/mls-R2800518/3...-Vancouver-BC/

I guess it's at the expense of the living/dining area on the main floor. I don't see how you can fit a table, chairs, couch, and TV all in that area.

G wagon + model 3? get da fack outta here with your lame fantasy garage.... or lack thereof garage.

bcrdukes 07-24-2023 10:33 AM

loll no freakin' way they can fit those two massive cars

roastpuff 07-24-2023 10:38 AM

9' 6" and 27' 6"

G-wagon is 15' 10"

Model 3 is 15' 5"

That garage will not fit those two cars lol

For a standard lot build the overall layout isn't bad though - that den on the main floor is rare but super useful for those people who want to WFH or have a guest bedroom. I'm surprised the downstairs isn't set up as a legal suite though.

With the new zoning rules the main house is going to get smaller so folks who want a big main house will want to jump on these kind of houses. OTOH, the new laneway rules mean a much more livable laneway - 1000sf is possible so you could still build a double garage (400sf) and have 600sf left for the laneway.

Master bed room has touching wall with another bed room will hear loud sex:troll::joy::okay: not that I can afford

snowball 07-24-2023 12:55 PM

Gonna need at least 40' length for a tandem driveway, no way is that the case for the laneway unless it's parking in the backyard as well lol.

I don't think that 15 seconds of noise would bother the adjacent room.
