A+W for breakfast sandwiches (one on English muffin one on a bun) baked pies and root-beer. Add the odd teen burger/onion rings and you can really simplify their menu. Lol

I had an A&W breakfast sandwich not too long ago, it was absolutely the worst Fast Food breakfast I ever had. Literally just a fried egg plopped on a stale english muffin and a cold slice of swiss cheese. Disgusting.

If you guys dug into the LMIA program more, your heads would spin. It's no coincidence all these service industry jobs have pivoted to Indian workers.
There is VERY little oversight by the Feds in regards to the LMIA program, and the approved positions are being literally sold to people abroad looking for an entryway into Canada, and eventual PR status.
There are a litany of fake job boards online where a business owner can post a role that no one will see, have it posted for a month with no applications (by design), and then submit a LMIA application for approval. The Feds have no real mechanism in place to vet with applications with scrutiny. Compound that further with these franchise owners that get a LMIA approval, while also running a slumlord flop house where they house those same LMIA workers, effectively subsidizing their hourly pay by charging inflated rent.
The whole thing is quite unbelievable, and that it has been allowed to be exploited for this long. COVID really exploded this entire black market industry.

tim hortons is truly awful but it's convenient. when i want to bring 6 coffees for my crew and don't want to deal with people ordering weird shit at starbucks, it's like $12 for 6 large double doubles and it's a 2 min drive away.
the only food item that i occasionally get are the bagels, double toasted. it's not good but it's also not like $7 like at a proper bagel shop.

I'm not against immigration, this Country was built on it but it has to be done in a way where it's not breaking the system.
I think it's fair to say that if you can look at who new is coming into the country over the past bunch of years and we should be getting a mix of immigrants from all sorts of Countries but more than half of them for both PR and study permits are all coming from the same place you might have some high level corruption going on at an insane level, and maybe just maybe the Government might want to look into that.....unless.

I used to get the fried chicken from time to time, it was decent but because they weren't Churches or KFC they had to make that shit fresh since it wasn't often ordered. Great in terms of getting nice and hot chicken but shitty if you are in any sort of a rush having to wait 15+ mins
On a side note their whistle dog is back again for a little while. I can't say I've ever had one my entire life nor does it look appealing to me in anyway whatsoever I rather just get a polish dog from costco.
