I used to drive in the lower mainland every day too, Richmond to deep into Surrey… you know what MY experience was? In Richmond it was retard Chinese people and the odd white person… then transition to Surrey and it was a mix of retarded brown guys and white guys. I wonder why? Maybe the demographics of the area?

white still dominate the trucking industry with 2/3 of the population, when was the last time we heard them causing a massive negligent accident like Humboldt? what is there to deny Indian drivers do not care about safety as much as other drivers?

Easy for you to say when you experience the same amount of bad driving in both surrey and richmond. Put yourself in my shoe where I have encountered 2 accidents with indian drivers, countless close calls and other bs driving in surrey, but none in Richmond (I probably just jinxed myself here), how am i supposed to be a saint like you and blame it on the demographics of the region?

That’s why you need to be the better person brother. Need to let go of the hatred. Embrace the fact that there could be good amongst them and not all of them are what you think they are. Even if your empirical evidence shows otherwise. I assure you there are a lot of them that are fantastic people.

I understand what you are saying but it's hard, there is a mental block/guard I have to keep up due to past experiences. I didn't even mention this, I only got bullied once when I was in elementary school, a brown kid from my school came out of a car, chased me around the neighbourhood, then used a golf club, hit a ball and almost hit me in the head, I could had been seriously injured or killed.

There is a chinese saying that goes 未经他人苦，莫劝他人善 which translate to Don’t teach others to be good without experiencing their suffering

dude can you learn to read everything I said at least? Are you gonna diminish the fact that I got into two car accidents (one hit and run, one rear-end), countless other close calls on the roads, and my own negative experience with indian co-workers?

That’s pretty funny because I’ve done a lot of personality tests due to work and got some of the highest EQ scores the tester had ever seen, I’ve got plenty of empathy… if you were bringing any critical thinking to your arguments / points of view I’d understand where you’re coming from but when you’re saying just because you have some negative interactions 3 billion people are pieces of shit, its indefensible.

I got hit head on in Richmond, my car was totalled, driver was a middle aged white guy. I laughed about it at the time that I managed to get fucked up by the only other white dude in Richmond… but that’s about it, it’s just random, he tried to sue me saying it was my fault too and accused me of being on driugs/impaired and that my car was faulty and he lost… but I don’t go through life thinking all middle aged white guys are cheating mofo aholes. I don’t know what you think is happening to you.

I used to be scared of brown guys when I was younger too, barely ever saw them in Steveston side of Richmond and had a couple of negative interactions at sports events… and some good and bad coworkers… then met some really nice guys (like guys in this thread) and went to some weddings and shared some great experiences and then joined a hockey group where I was the only white guy and they’re awesome, there’s a few dicks in the group but I just don’t interact much with them … they have their own culture and way of talking and way of earning respect and I figured out how to coexist. Now some of those guys would drop whatever to come help me if I needed it or hook me up with stuff. If you just shut your door and don’t try and, likely, act aggressive or defensive whenever you see someone brown you’re only ever going to reinforce your previous experiences.

Few bad apples spoil it for everyone but like I posted a few pages back, the vast majority of Chinese and even Indians are good, hardworking people who have integrated into Canadian society. We don’t have Chinese or Indian slums, and we don’t have Chinese or Indians who can’t succeed. In fact, I would say both diasporas have done exceptionally well financially and politically.
