You don't know how many 4x4 trucks and SUV's I pass every year that have been ditched in the, er, ditch.

I laugh my ass off at people who think they can get anywhere when it snows because they have 4wd but still rocking all weather tires.

Then again I can get anywhere but I have the best possible tires and I know how to drive :fullofwin:

It certainly was close to snowing last night, we had a touch of wet snow throughout the Valley.

Looking at the northshore ,with its dusting of snow, just puts a smile on my face. Now if only we would get some in the city.. :fullofwin:

I have heard good things about those tires. I've been liking my Hankook RT03 MT's that I had on the 4runner. Gonna be getting a set for the Cummins.

:/ mid january I'll still have summers on

k3mps 10-21-2012 10:39 PM

drove up the coq yesterday and it had a decent amount of snow and was snowing pretty hard.
on the way down today though it was plowed and as dry as a summers day

Vale46Rossi 10-21-2012 10:53 PM

Fuck, I hate snow.

I hate the cold weather.

604STIG 10-22-2012 09:39 AM

A lot of people hate the snow but I gotta say that I prefer the snow over months and months of rain and gray everything. At least in the snow everything is nice and bright, not so depressing. And it's always nice to have a couple of snow days off from work here and there.

I tend to have a day or two off due to the snow, usually self-induced though. Whenever the Langley Township gets around to plowing the side streets, it builds up a nice hump that my car is unable to get over... :lol

Akinari 10-22-2012 10:19 AM

Snow? :fuckthatshit: FWD + grand touring all-seasons and SUV ride height = no problems.

my family has 4 awd/4x4 vehicles and we've never bought a set of winters. Just made sure that we had good all seasons with a good amount of thread. Live on the north shore, and even drove through that heavy snow fall 3-4 years ago. It all comes down to the driver. I personally, have never had a problem. The only car I've bought winters for was last year in my old rwd volvo.

I want to drive on a snow covered road .. so much fun :fullofwin: The only year I remember fondly was 08/09 .. man I loved that year.

It's funny, I bought a jeep right after the last big snow storm we had. With my luck, we'll probably get the most epic dump in 50 years once I sell my jeep :okay:

StylinRed 10-22-2012 02:28 PM

^^^ you missed the january snowfall? coming back after the jacky concert was such a pita

Barely lasted + not that much :okay:

I guess I'm only a fan of extreme weather. Either be pissing rain/snowing a blizzard/hot as hell or don't be in between. I think that's why vancouver winter can be so depressing. Day after day of the same mundane weather.

I spent a few weeks in calgary during winter and I loved it :fullofwin:

Purely 10-22-2012 02:46 PM

hate the rain, but love the snow! :fullofwin:
