Snow was coming down hard on the top of 10th in New West. Visibility was pretty poor due to the amount of heavy snowfall, could see maybe 15-20m ahead. As you continue into Burnaby road conditions were mostly slush then Vancouver was all slush. Left early for work thinking traffic would be bad coming from Coquitlam through to south Vancouver but I guess the snow kept some people off the roads. Knight looked pretty backed up lol

3 Semi's stalled on North End of Patullo, right inside New West. All traffic completely stopped.

Avoid Patullo like the plague, traffic backed up all the way up to 104th if you're going up King George, and up to 92nd if you're going up Scott Road.

Seriously consider calling in sick, or go the long way around.

how's surrey looking? will have to drive there tonight and am not sure if i want to.

Surrey is alright - strangely a lot of the roads are frozen, so if it suddenly feels like you're driving on a very solid gravel field, slow down and drive carefully.

Other than that it's mostly just slush and easy to drive through.

I must say though, watch out for EI women..the older ones are driving 7km/h and the younger ones are going 70.

I noticed the people who drives a full size pick-up and mid SUV (CR-V, Q5 etc..) are the ones that are driving like a maniacs. Just saw a few blew right through a side street going 50...... :rukidding:

Yeah that's so frustrating... they're also the ones who try to pass on a 2 lane street when everybody's only using 1 lane as a precaution.

Roads in surrey are very bad..city cannot keep up with the snowfall here. Also it doesnt help when you have surrey jacks still driving with their summer rims on..lol

Saw a BMW 3 series stuck on Victoria Dr. and 33rd at around 8am. It's like a 1° incline there.

Driving to work this morning on Westminster Hwy, on the overpass going over the 99. A guy in a 3 series was stuck on the hill.. it could hardly go up the slightest incline :lawl:
